The owner Joseph cancelled my stay with one week to go to holiday and informed me that a refund of my deposit 470 euros would be put back into my account After numerous texts and calls he hasn’t replied and stole my deposit. Avoid this con man and his property like the plague. I am returning next year and will visit the property to confront the fraudster.

No villa but small bungalow. Terrible breakfast. Few biscuits and pie from Day behoren.Soda instead of Coffee. We asked a refund for the breakfast and bought breakfast ourself. Owner agreed but until now, no refund. No luxuary at all. Kitchen is poorly equiped. Small bathroom with old shower. The house is ok without breakfast and for half the price they ask

In January we made reservation for Villa with garden view, via Booking. They sent me message with information for free transfer and breakfast menu. I thought everything is ok. According to the payment policy, they shouldn't have charged anything before 20/6. But they did. They charged 200 eur, and they say Just a small deposit. I was trying to reach them to check some details, but no one replied. On 27/6 they requested cancellation because they have "Pipe issues". Obviously they tell the same story to everyone. They refunded money on my card and they cancelled my reservation. They suggested some alternative accommodation, but they have never sent anything about that. Booking suggested some apartments, however nothing was acceptable. All in all, I am lucky that we will not stay here. Never but never make reservation for this property.

So having stayed there last year the villa and location is good. Rebooked but had to cancel. Spent five weeks fighting for the due refund. Eventually the booking website intervened to get us a refund. I don’t get the owner? We would have rebooked for next year but obviously now wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole!! How ridiculous you are…

AVOID this con artist!!! We rented for a month and paid the agent (Joseph Faratakis) directly because he asked us to. HUGE beginner’s mistake. He gave us a tiny studio when we paid for 2 rooms, it was filthy and smelled. The “garden” is Astroturf. We left after 5 days. He kept 1000 Euros of our money and only gave us some back because we went to the “Tourist Police.” Of course, the Chania police know him. He is sugar sweet on email and an absolute horror show in person. The irony? There are about 100 nicer places closer to the beach that are much cheaper. Do NOT stay here.

Amazing luxe villas few steps from the beach of nea chora . We had a superior room with an amazing breakfast and a private garden it was wonderful the city center is only 800 meters away we can go by walking and also the old venetian Harbour Amazing place

Avoid this place! We booked apartment via Airbnb for 7 nights for 1300eur (4 person) and Joseph Faratakis sent us immediately message with offer for 900eur (with transfer and breakfast for all days) if we send him money on his bank account. We confronted him with one of the bad review here on tripadvisor... but he told that it can be written by anyone and that he saw it for the first time and we can keep Airbnb booking to make us feel comfortable. A week before our arrival he cancelled our booking due to some "problem with plumbing pipes". We are sure that if we paid him on his bank account we would never see our money again.
