Beautiful and unique space- so, be prepared to climb and then be rewarded for your efforts. We loved exploring Chania, we loved the property and wish we had an extra day just to spend lounging in the room and on the roof garden. We don't usually eat breakfast but would not miss this breakfast for anything, hot coffee, fresh juice, quiet old cafe feel. We truly appreciated the peaceful ,yet busy, mornings, smiling faces, and great service.

Beautiful traditional decor and a great breakfast provided. The hospitality was fabulous, they were so welcoming and friendly! The location is very good, so close to the harbour.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Lux Villa Ifigenia location in Theriso Village
If you looking to stay in a very original, authentic home both unique and old-fashioned that is located in a very small and quiet village, this might be a good option for you. Be prepared though for 3 floor living, tight circular stairs, lots of antique decor and furnishings, base-only showers, inconsistent hot water etc. The AC and WiFi both work well though and there is off-street parking.
The village consists of only a few homes but does have a few Taverna restaurants and a small local store. The village is about a 20 minute drive from the main road.
An “interesting” experience but a little too original, worn and dated for us.

Booking should cancel it because you are dealing with a real scam. The location is 14 km from Chania and to get there you have to travel a dangerous road during the day and impassable at night. We left without staying overnight because the situation was objectively embarrassing; thanks to Booking we were able to cancel the reservation but we would have left even if it meant losing the entire fee. Don't be fooled by the photos you find on Booking and absolutely avoid this place that also makes you pay handsomely. RUN AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE A HERMIT IN THE MOUNTAINS!!!!

14 km da Chania... di cui circa 10 km nelle gole di Therisos, pericolose di giorno e terribili di notte. Avevamo prenotato 3 camere con 3 bagni, ma è stata una grande delusione perché un bagno era perennemente allagato a causa del sifone a terra otturato, nel secondo bagno il piatto doccia non aveva nemmeno la tenda, il terzo bagno era di 1 metro quadrato con il piatto doccia attaccato al wc. Un solo fono per i capelli rotto e non sostituito nonostante le nostre richieste. Le camere erano molto molto sporche con tappeti e cuscini mai puliti da anni. Per non parlare del fatto che le camere e i bagni erano su 3 livelli collegati da 2 scale a chiocciola molto strette e non praticabili con le valigie. Per la colazione fino alle ore 9 il bar più vicino era a 11 km. Il prezzo di 95 euro a notte per camera assolutamente non adeguato al livello della struttura e dei servizi offerti, con un impianto idraulico "che fa acqua da tutte le parti".
