My recent two-night stay at The Jewel Hidden Valley was nothing short of wonderful. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this serene and culturally rich retreat provided the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home.
A special mention goes to "Julie" and "Zhang Kai Yi" (if I remember correctly), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Despite the rain, they selflessly helped us with our luggage all the way to our villa—a gesture that truly touched us. Zhang even took the time to personally walk us to the Tong Guan Kiln, which was about 8 minutes away, sharing interesting insights along the way. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly impressive.
The hotel’s design and layout are stunning, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings while maintaining a luxurious feel. Our villa was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, with high-quality amenities and toiletries that added to the comfort.
Breakfast was another highlight—the spread was extensive, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making it a great start to our days.
Overall, The Jewel Hidden Valley exceeded my expectations in every way. The peaceful ambiance, outstanding service, and attention to detail make it a hidden gem worth revisiting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, culturally immersive getaway!

Technically, I am not reviewing for this hotel but a Sister Hotel tongguanyao lijing hotel because this one is currently under renovation. They swapped me to a suite instead, was I pissed yes, did their service make up for it? Also, yes. Their service staff was really attentive, especially with the turndown service

Green Valley Hotel definitely met our expectations, an oasis in the summer heat. It is right next to the Tongguan Kiln Scenic Area, which is very convenient for visiting the scenic area. Each villa has its own view, and the butler service is very good. The little sister Si Wanwan who I met when checking out had a cute smile and was kind and friendly.

A very perfect trip. We stayed very comfortably with children and the elderly. Almost every meal was taken care of by the hotel. The best thing was the service, which was far better than most 5-star hotels. Every service staff was very polite and could remember the guest's room and surname. The housekeeper Xiaoyu was always on call and could come whenever 51 was full. This greatly improved the satisfaction of the trip and I will recommend this hotel to others.
