Hunan Dahua Hotel is a public institution directly under the General Office of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress and a member unit of the National Provincial People's Congress System Hotel Alliance. It is jointly operated with the Hunan Provincial People's Congress Cadre Training Base.

The hotel is located in the Dongtang Business District of Yuhua District, Changsha City, at the intersection of Laodong West Road and Shaoshan North Road, adjacent to the entrance and exit of Dongtang Station on Metro Line ③. It has 281 guest rooms of various types, over 400 beds, 8 provincial conference reception standard conference rooms of different specifications, 12 dining rooms, and a multi-functional hall, banquet hall, and Chinese and Western restaurant that can accommodate 1000 people for dining at the same time, with a total of 380 parking spaces.In 2012, it was awarded the honorary title of "Top Ten Star Tourist Hotels in Changsha City", and in 2021, it was elected as the vice president unit of Changsha Tourism Hotel Association.
