These are the top two hotels I'm most satisfied with among all the hotels I've ever stayed in, and they left a deep impression on our trip to Changsha. The hotel not only looks good, but the rooms are also beautiful, clean, and full of details. It has everything you need, and even things you wouldn't expect (see the photos). [First time writing a bad review] I chose Xiangjiang Hotel 1968 because I like the historical style of the building and the unforgettable memory of the old Xiangjiang Hotel. Many people choose B&Bs for their warmth and humanity, but now many standard hotels are also paying more and more attention to the details of equipment and services and conforming to the emotional value of humanity. If it is a city B&B hotel, it needs to have its own unique features. The book bar on the second floor is a little small except that it only has two seats, and the rooftop courtyard space is quite good. A few comments 1. Inadequate service: I placed an order directly on Ctrip after seeing such a high score, but the hotel did not take the initiative to call or contact me. The hotel is in a residential area. I took a taxi and went around the residential area twice but could not find the hotel lobby. I added WeChat after I arrived, and the attitude was very cold afterwards. 2. Unreasonable design: There is a height difference between the door sill and the corridor when checking in, which is easy to trip and the child almost fell several times; there is no makeup mirror, and the dressing mirror is installed in the closet, which is inconvenient to not see the clothes hanging; the bath towel is placed on the high cabinet of the bathtub table, which is difficult for family members to take, and they fell when they turned sideways due to the slippery floor; the blue indicator light of the toilet in the bathroom cannot be turned off, and it feels very gloomy when sleeping on the bed, and I didn’t sleep well all night. 3. Few breakfast varieties: Maybe it’s because I arrived at some restaurants late, there is no pasta, the taste of the noodles is not good, the fruit is not fresh, and the banana is still rotten. 4. Inadequate equipment: The air conditioner can’t be turned on even at 30 degrees. It’s too late to worry about affecting my family, so I didn’t ask the hotel to deal with it. I blew cold wind all night. Because I added WeChat after arriving at the hotel, I didn’t look at the reminder carefully. I was ready to leave the hotel at 12:05 noon. The front desk said that the luggage could no longer be delivered and it would take 4 pm to arrive at the station... It’s hard to describe the whole family dragging their luggage around several places on the pedestrian street... The experience is very bad, not recommended!
