I remember this place being guarded by armed soldiers back in the days when I grew up in Changchun. It hosted many top officials from China and many other countries. It was a surprise to see it open to the public now. We had a great experience staying there. This compound is unique in that it sits on a large piece of land with lakes, walking paths and bridges. This hotel is old but beautifully maintained over the years. It is quiet at night, a nice change from the busy city. The breakfast buffet doesn't have many Western options, but very good regardless. Friendly staff.

This is an excellent property and we will stay here again. The service is great and the location very good. The breakfast is also very good, although they could have a few more western options. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are professional and elegant. Th only other suggestion is to upgrade their exercise room. All in all, highly recommended.

It is a state guesthouse, the environment is very beautiful. I walked around the whole park, but unfortunately I didn't see any deer. Changchun left me with a very good impression, the spring of the north!

This is my second time staying at Nanhu Hotel. The front desk lady and the guy are as warm and thoughtful as before. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel has a large birch forest, which is very quiet and cozy. I had diarrhea and felt uncomfortable. Thanks to the front desk for helping me buy medicine and the restaurant for cooking hot soup noodles... I recovered quickly. Thank you

The hotel is located in Nanhu Park, with a beautiful environment, safe and quiet. When I opened the curtains in the morning, I saw three sika deer resting in the birch forest and two big squirrels chasing each other in the trees. The children had a lot of fun.
