InterContinental Changchun High Tech Zone

After much deliberation, I chose the InterContinental Changchun Hotel, which just opened in July. The decor is a bit dated, but acceptable. After booking, the hotel concierge proactively contacted me and asked about any room requirements. The location isn't particularly good for tourism, being 7 kilometers from Xinmin Road and Guilin Road and about 10 kilometers from Jingyuetan Lake. Fortunately, transportation is convenient, and taxis are easily available. Nearby, there are numerous restaurants on Zhengxiu Road, which is easily accessible from Zhenyu Street. The nearby land is still under development, so your windows may face the construction site. Please note this when booking. The facilities are very new and luxurious. The deluxe room with a king-size bed is about 40 square meters, with comfortable bedding. The toilet is in a separate room. The toilet has no ventilation, relying solely on a smart toilet, which can develop a slight odor after prolonged use. The hot water flow in the shower is excellent. The swimming pool is on the basement level and is rarely crowded. However, my daughter had a minor accident there, and the hotel covered her medical expenses. The breakfast is pretty good, with local specialties like stews and rice sausage. After 8 PM, there's a performance by beautiful foreign women in the first-floor bar, so come down and listen. Ctrip currently has a pre-sale package for 888 yuan, including a deluxe room with a king-size bed, breakfast for two, and a set meal for two at the Caifenglou Chinese restaurant. It's a good deal.

Our housekeeper, Lauren Liu Ying, was very attentive and called us before we even arrived. The room was clean and nicely decorated. It also had a capsule coffee machine, allowing me to make two cups of coffee every morning, which was very convenient before going to the gym. The bathroom had a smart flush function, which was especially nice. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety. They even had black cuttlefish fritters, which I had never seen before and didn't try. My friend tried the spinach fritters, which were quite good. For dinner, we had the hotel buffet, which had a wide variety and was clean and hygienic. The service was attentive and the food was served very quickly. There was even a guy serving roast duck on a cart who could carve the duck and even roll it for us. It was great. The bartender was also very cool. My favorite part was the swimming pool. I went there around 6:00 AM on the first day and there was only one person there at around 6:00 AM on the second day. It was so refreshing. After the swim, there was a hot spring pool for soaking. I swam almost every day. It was a great experience. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Changchun next time.

New hotel, Dyson hair dryer, bedding is very good, the key is to praise the front desk room and restaurant staff, they are all very enthusiastic and professional, next time I come, I will continue to stay here, the TV can be projected, there are plenty of parking spaces, the key is that the indoor green plants are also real, Sherry is very professional, good review.

The view is amazing! The high-floor rooms offer incredible views, especially at night, with the city lights shimmering before our eyes – a truly relaxing experience. The room design is thoughtful, with a well-designed dry and wet area. Even better, a door completely shuts out the outside noise, allowing for a good night's sleep. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodations next time I visit Changchun, and I highly recommend it to everyone. It's worth a visit! A special mention goes to our housekeeper, Lauren (Liu Ying). She carefully understood our needs before check-in and even escorted us to our room after check-in. These thoughtful touches were truly heartwarming.

The stay was wonderful, the concierge service met five-star standards, and the breakfast selection was extensive. I especially want to praise the room decor: a harmonious blend of modern Chinese and Western styles. Aside from the washbasin having a large gold trim, which was a bit odd, everything else was excellent. Thank you to our housekeeping manager, Liu Ying, for her attentive service. I'll definitely stay at InterContinental again.

The experience exceeded expectations! From the bathtub to the overall quiet atmosphere, it was truly relaxing. The mini-bar with drinks was a thoughtful touch. I'll definitely stay here again! Everything about the hotel (service, amenities) was excellent. Because it's newly opened, there's still a slight odor, so the room was equipped with an air purifier. The only downside to the hotel is the poor quality of the guests, hahaha (see photos 2 and 3 for cigarette butts in the elevator).
