Pros:
- Great location with access to many small convenience stores and restaurants around
- Hotel is housed within one of the highest building in Changchun
- Breakfast selection was great and service of staff there was superb
- Room assigned was on 33rd floor with great view of the city
- Room size was big despite having a small window space
- Futuristic and minimalist hotel with robot to send food to your door (deliveries)
- About 10 mins walk to “The Hill”/“Wanda Shopping Mall” and Tram 54
Cons:
- Not easy to find the exact location in Didi App as it’s very new and there are a few hotels of the same name around the area
- Was told that they have disabled the aircond (Cold air) during winter and it will only blow warm air. With that, we were advised to turn off the aircond and we slept sweating as the temperature was not low enough for a great night sleep
- To maximize space, there wasn’t any proper hanging (wardrobe) area that we can use to hang our winter jackets
Overall (Summary)
- Great hotel for its location and with much local delights around. Service was great with great selection of breakfast. High floor view of city. Just too bad there wasn’t any cooling aircond we could use as the window was tight shut. Great room size for family which is a plus point. Happy to come back again perhaps in the summer next time. The soundproofing of the room is great😰From about 9 o'clock to about 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, I can intermittently hear the sound of banging and vibrating the whole room...similar to the sound that vibrates the wall when I open the door and close it strongly...there is one There is no door-wide window, and the window cannot be opened😱It is only about one-third of the corridor window...The air conditioner can only heat. The front desk asked me to borrow a fan to blow it, but I didn't borrow it...The front desk asked me to open the door to make it cooler... I couldn't book a family room online. I booked a superior double room. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk changed me to a family room. The lady was really nice. It was big and clean. I was originally worried that the newly renovated room would have a smell. None. It’s very safe to live with children. The hotel has a laundry room and a free parking lot downstairs. You can order takeout robots for food delivery. There are a lot of places to eat around. The transportation is also very convenient. You can walk to Eurasia Mall for dinner. Then I walked to Wanda, which is very close to the mountains. Next time I go to Changchun, I will stay at this Hanting Hotel. It’s great!
