Ban Chang Hotels with Airport pickup service

I stayed here for a long weekend in December 2020. The rooms are large and a great balcony with stunning sea views. The stay did not go well for a number of reasons, poor service, Internet not working, room filthy, room old, no shower curtain (so bathroom flooded after each shower, poor quality breakfast. As part of the Internet issue, I met the Resident Manager and she seemed to be proactive and practical. Although it took about five hours, she did manage to resolve the problem. Upon check-out, I bumped into her and she already knew that I was not happy with the stay but she talked well and offered an olive branch, to say that if I return, to book a room and then write to her, she would then 'take care of us'. In March, I decided to give this place one more try, so booked a room and wrote to the Resident Manager to take advantage of her offer to 'take care of us'. I wanted Building B as it has the best views and was told it was full (I later found out that it is being renovated, but they decided that lying was better than the simple truth). I had booked direct as that is what the Resident Manager has asked. This was at a higher price than I can get on Agoda, but I was expecting that 'take care of you' would comprise the usual Hotel Management offer, perhaps a room upgrade, or a free drink, or a free dinner etc. Upon check-in, no indication of how we would be 'looked after. So, went to the room, and wow! It was in worse condition than the room in December and, was utterly filthy. I called the Lobby and asked to see the Resident Manager. She came to the room and without even looking at how dirty the room was, immediately said 'yesterday there was a strong wind and it may have blown some duct under the door'. I pointed out that the filthy floor was caused by not being cleaned properly for many months. When she looked at the mess, she agreed and took her own photographs. Still no shower curtains fitted, woodwork filthy, rusty fittings in the bathroom etc. I pointed out that the room was unacceptable and she said that all of the rooms are the same age. I pointed out that the age of the room had no bearing on floor cleanliness. Her response was 'if you want to leave now I will refund you'! Superb Customer Service style. I will never set foot in this place again and I cannot recommend anything except the view. Some friends recently stayed at the Lord Nelson which is not far away, I will try that next time.

The room is very good, the service is very good, the exquisite room is very clean and bright, the only drawback is that the room I stayed in still smells like decoration, everything else is very good

The room is spacious, clean, new, convenient to travel, close to tourist attractions, very easy to find things to eat, very comfortable, good value 😆😆😆

The hotel is clean, has a swimming pool, and good service staff. Convenient parking Not far from Phayun Beach, clean beds, good sized rooms, clean bathrooms.

We were a bit concerned about some negatieve reviews related to being an old and outdated hotel. But after taking a closer look at the hotel and surrounding photos we decided to give it a try. Yes the hotel is a bit older but we like this style and found the hotel well maintained and very clean. The room was large and furniture was quite new. Views from the room are great (we were on 5th floor). The large pool is situated in a very well maintained garden with lots of shade and beautiful trees. Pool furniture is new and comfortable. We really liked the beach area and the shady trees. Yes you can see the industrial estate in the distance but water quality was good (I would much rather swim close to a petroleum plant than a city like Pattaya as sewage and drainage is much better controlled in the petroleum industry (due to heavy fines). Hotel seems very quiet during the week with more guests during the weekend. Wifi in the pool and public areas is good but poor signal in our room. Food is good at hotel restaurant at reasonable price and in a very nice setting. We will definitely come back again.

The hotel is located by the sea. When I stayed, the hotel had just opened, so there was still some smell of new materials left in the room. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was quick and polite. The breakfast had few choices, but the food was delicious. There was a kids club and a playground on the rooftop for the kids to play in. The fitness center was open 24 hours and there were electric massage chairs available. If the hotel was fully open in every building, all services would be perfect and colorful. This place is considered quiet and suitable for relaxation near Bangkok.

Excellent staff and service, no lift for upper levels, no laundry service. internet very week especially in the room. ground rooms are spacious enough, excellent location. Basic breakfast provided. Motorbike and car park available for free.

It can be said that Xanadu😊 has gone through a small twists and turns, and almost lost it in a foreign country~ The hotel address link leads to the wilderness for some reason, scared to death, but I found it after manually entering the address~ Hotel environment Nice, there is 711 in a few steps, convenient, with access control, I feel quite safe. Recommend~
