Ask for a room in the new tower, as we did. The corner balcony room had a nice wrap-around balcony although the view was horrid, flat, and unimpressive. The entry was expansive, as were the room and bathroom. Seriously spacious! Movies were on-demand only. Of course they want guests to spend time and money in the ******. Check out Prime for dinner. It was delightful.

We stayed at he hotel on February 17. It is a newer property and the hotel is very clean. The rooms are also very clean and new. However, there are some design concerns with the rooms. Let's start with the bathroom door, which is a glass barn door. If you use the bathroom in the middle of the night, expect the glass door to fully illuminate the entire room. That is not great for anyone still sleeping. You never see a barn door that does not have a big gap on one end or the other, and this one is no exception. There is also no lighting to use which provides a dim light to navigate the room at night. Every light is bright! The low level single mattress (no box springs) millennial hipster beds were comfortable. The room was well decorated. We tried to have cocktails at the bar after dinner and the hotel needs to beef up the staffing there. The bartender was polite but stressed. She told me they did not have a wine and cocktail list. I found that very odd given this was a bar. She instead handed us an abbreviated meal menu with a handful of cocktail selections?? Now here is where the bar scene went south. The bartender put four bottles of wine on the counter and stated they were all $76. One of the selections was Merf Cab....which we have purchased in the grocery store for around $13.99. I refused to be financially stabbed with a price of $76. So we drove to a nearby Walgreens and bought a bottle of 19 Crimes for $17. We returned to the hotel and drank the wine in the ”M Club”, which is a nice area that you can pay to access when you book your room. The M Club is significantly more private and peaceful....AND I saved close to $60 on wine. The M Club also has a free hot breakfast in the morning. Overall this hotel is clean and has a good layout. The staff is polite and efficient. The property offers a nice option that is away from the hustle and bustle of Phoenix proper. I would recommend the property if take the above considerations under advisement.

The staff was very nice all the way down to the housekeeping... The apartment was clean and very nicely decorated... The only thing that I think they could improve on is trash cans, a plunger, a coffee maker, cups and a couple of small pots 1 pan with lid and dishes in the rooms they can even be disposable dishes and eating utensils... Other then that the stay was excellent... Would most definitely stay again and tell anyone I know that is looking for a nice place to stay to stay here... Daughter was upset we had to go...lol

I'm writing this review on minute 15 of being on hold with this hotel. I stayed at this hotel in May. For the first several nights, it was servicable. However, on our last day of vacation, intended to be a day of rest after four work days, we awoke to find there was no water at the resort. By 9 AM, the restrooms had the ambiance of an outhouse, and with cancelled spa appointments and little acknowledgement by the hotel that the lack of water was an issue, we asked to rebook at another Mariott property. The hotel staff had us look on our own phones for a new location, and at an expense of over $50, we relocated. The second hotel, also a Marriott property, without notice, was resurfacing its pool and offered little respite. Upon returning home, I found that the hotel had not checked me in for my first night, billing me instead a ”guaranteed no show” rate, which is non-reimburseable as a corporate travel expense. And, after reviewing invoices, I discovered that the hotel not only billed the no-show rate for a night that I did indeed stay, the hotel also appears to have billed me a regular rate, double billing me. For a five night stay, I have three invoices to attempt to reconcile. I'm now on minute 19 of being on hold with the hotel. I have emailed customer service twice, to no avail. Terrible service. I'm giving this hotel two stars only because the view is lovely. Marriott, do better.
