Fabulous hotel !
This hotel is perfect for a stay in Champoluc.A beautiful place in the centre of town very close to the lifts. The staff are really friendly and helpful providing lovely food at reasonable prices.
The rooms are recently renovated and spotlessly clean with amazing showers.

Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel. Positive: Great room, nice bar, service minded staff and very good breakfast. The restaurant is ok, we would give it 3 out of 5. 7-8 minutes walking to the ski lift but the hotel offers a shuttle service in the morning.

Very good value for money for a family weekend. Breakfast is ok. Some rooms are nicely refurbished and some are a bit old. Very clean and very helpful staff, at the reception and restaurant. Also very helpful and flexible upon booking via email.

Hotel Castor Review We have just returned from a weeks stay at Hotel Castor. The hotel is very nice with large rooms and excellent bathrooms. Each day Herman, the manager, offered to drive us to the Champoluc lifts, rather than the ~10 minute walk. This was very helpful as we had all of our equipment in the boot room. He also offered advice on where is best to ski for beginners and twice gave us a lift to Antagnon, saving us a 15 min bus journey. Unfortunately we had an injury on the slopes during the week, again the staff were very helpful with advice and gave a lift to the trauma centre. Dinner was always a good standard, with a wide range of choices, although we did eat out one night for a more decadent meal (Brasserie Breithorn - would recommend). Herman has an extensive knowledge of wine, which meant we sampled an array of local wines with dinner. Throughout our stay the staff were extremely helpful/welcoming and there is a nice bar to relax before/after dinner. There is also a huge sweet hotel dog (Laika), often chilling in the lobby. We look forward to staying again!

Hotel very well located in the city center, restaurants accessible within 10min walk. Shuttle for the gondola, and driver very available, a big thank you again for all the round trips. Spacious room and all in very beautiful wood! Very good breakfast and evening meal! Servers hyper available and very professional. Ditto for the reception and the bar. We were able to check in after 11 p.m. which is really nice. To be improved: bathroom to be refreshed. Too hot in the rooms. Parking to expand or review because no space for us… we had to park in a street and well it’s not super nice considering the price paid we would have preferred to park in a private car park. Other than that: very pleasant stay and fair price.

We stayed in this hotel for the Epiphany weekend and we found ourselves very well, the mountain-style hotel with very clean and characteristic rooms in wood, delicious food, very kind staff and very attentive to every need (special thanks to Ms. Rossana).....in my opinion it deserves an extra star.

I was in this hotel in January 2023 for a holiday with friends and we were greeted by a hotel that does not reflect expectations and its online presentation; The hotel is not cared for and not at all attentive to the needs of the guests. The staff and the owner are unprofessional and very rude. The room is smaller than it looks in the photos and it is not cleaned properly, in fact I would say full of dust. Experience not to be repeated....
