Our first stay in an Ibis Styles, although we had experienced an Ibis Budget before. Easy to find, plenty of parking . Both Ibis Budget and Ibis Styles on same site so you need to check which one you are staying at, like another reviewer said probably not much difference in them. However, the room was comfortable and big enough for the three of us. Free WiFi, which worked well. The breakfast was really good and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and cheerful. A lovely lounge/bar to relax in and also room outside with tables and chairs. We only stayed one night as travelling to Spain but would happily stay again. Very good value.

The best star hotel , great friendly reception , rooms tidy and so stylish decorated with cartoons ( cartoon city) greats beds and very quiet , best sleep but best is yet to come when you enter breakfast with all the local very fresh products , fresh orange , apple juiches, local cheeses , breads , jam’s, fresh tea leaves and so much more for your health and support local farmers ! Love farmers love food

I've used this title before and it applies to the Ibis Styles. I'd stayed recently at an Ibis in the UK for 3 nights and it was comfortable enough for a short stay. As I only wanted an overnight stop in France I thought I'd give it a try. It was quite expensive but it was in a convenient location near the motorway and it was August. It was clean, modern and comfortable if a bit stark but for one night I need nothing more. Our ground floor room, 114, looked out onto the the patio area. Reception was efficient and English-speaking (I don't expect it but it helps). There is free parking outside. We walked to a nearby pizza restaurant, about 10 minutes walk away, for dinner although there is an adjacent restaurant called 'le Boucherie' Breakfast was buffet-style and adequate if not excessive like some up-market hotels.

I don’t know is Ibis style is higher or lower grade than Ibis budget. The hotel was a bit grubby, but the room was clean. Easy check in and welcoming. The toilet was not fastened to the floor (room 308) and moved about. Breakfast was ok, coffee and orange juice was good, service almost non existent.

Very convenient for motorway travel. Nice clean hotel, lovely lady on reception, spoke perfect english as she had lived in america. Will stay again now we have found it. Very hand for the Au Bureau restaurant, just a short walk away.

Stayed here for one night in August 2022 to break up my drive from Toulouse to Nantes and picked this hotel as it was available and I had not stayed at an Ibis Styles property before and wanted to see the difference. The hotel is located on the very outskirts of the city of Angouleme at the motorway exit. My room 320 was spacious and nicely furnished with some colourful artwork featuring cartoon characters which the city is apparently the centre of French animation. Breakfast was included but was a little on the sparse side compared with some other similar hotels. A step above a regular Ibis hotel but not sure if it is worth it for a one night stay.

We were very disappointed with the condition of the corridors and room. There was a particularly unpleasant smell in both.
The staff were pleasant and checked us in efficiently .
We went for breakfast about 7:30 but it looked as if it had been well picked over and croissant and other things had not been refilled.
The restaurant was closed and we were directed to an independent eatery across the car park. I had the worst steak ever and although I pointed out to the staff that it was very fatty, I did not even get an apology.
We will not stay here again

On our way back we stopped in Champniers for a night in the Ibis Styles. Good location and very friendly staff and a good service. Also the breakfast was ok. We had a very good sleep and a very calm night. We will return at this location.
