Beautiful resort we were grateful to call "home base" for three nights in Champagne. Features every amenity you might want, very tastefully designed, and well executed by a highly profession staff that defied the stereotype of "snooty French people" (with the possible exception of one woman working the spa desk on our last night). The bar menu and included breakfast overshadowed the core dinner offering from Le Bellevue (we did not try the Michelin-starred restaurant), but in any case, the views from the terrace overlooking gorgeous vineyards were incredible. The infinity pool is similarly spectacular, but arguably outdone by the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Only criticism would be lack of any actual servers from whom to order drinks, though we didn't see many guests spending time at the pool on our one (hot) afternoon there... as guests presumably prefer to spend their days tasting Champagne! Lobby and lower level are stylish, yet comfortable and inviting areas, and we loved stopping by the glass Champagne cellar downstairs to play backgammon on their wonderful board table. Our suite was also very well equipped and service was generally outstanding. Certainly hope to return!

My partner and I stayed here in May and our stay was excellent. The room was clean and well laid out. The service was very good, although we did have to ask for an ice bucket several times. The spa is fabulous and the service within the spa was incredible - great drink options and someone on hand to serve at all times. I would definitely recommend!

Stayed for 3 nights recently, having visited many times previously. It seems to get better and better, if that is possible. Undoubtably one of the very best hotels in France. The rooms are very well planned with every convenience and stunning views over the vines- the vendange was in progress. The three dinners in the Royal restaurant were sensational and will be long cherished. The staff under M Charlier are fantastic, charming, efficient and welcoming. The chef certainly deserves 3 Michelin stars. A tres bientot.

TThe views were absolutely stunning! The room is so up to date, which I adore. The decor is incredibly modern and sophisticated. The restaurant was also very pleasant! Such a delightful and sophisticated experience. The staff was extremely welcoming from check-in to departure! I highly suggest pre-booking your activities to maximize your time.

I want to share my most recent experience with what I can only describe as one of the most professional and well-run hotel establishments I’ve ever dealt with. My wife and I had booked a stay months ago, but just yesterday she came down with the flu/Covid, which forced us to postpone our trip. In the midst of this unexpected setback, the hotel staff showed nothing but respect, kindness, and professionalism. They immediately accommodated us without hesitation, releasing the reservation without penalty and offering their support as we work on new dates. Their actions reminded me why this hotel stands out above the rest. If you are planning to visit this region, look no further—this is the place to stay. The team is truly best-in-class, and we’re already working on rebooking as soon as my wife is fully recovered. Thank you to everyone there for being so understanding and showing what hospitality should truly be. Rob Stone

I've known about this hotel for a few years (it's exceptionally well rated by many sources), but I've avoided it because it's at the upper end of my price point and, too, though I love champagne, I'm less interested these days in tastings and visits to Champagne houses. I've done it in the past, I'm looking for other experiences now, in my retirement. But, with two days left in France and an afternoon flight from CDG back to the States, I thought I would give it a try for a two night stay. I was wowed by my visit! The hotel has that understated beauty to it and a fabulous display of chandelier crystals throughout the public spaces. All rooms have a gentle "champagne toned" palate, lovely and comfortable furnishings, spectacular bathrooms, and of course, views that you cannot find in most hotels that claim to be close tot he vineyards. So yes, the room was quiet, spacious and beautiful. But there's more: the staff had exceptional professionalism. Clearly there to meet the highest expectations of a demanding client base. Guests who are used to having everything just so. No request is too weird or too small or too large for the front desk. Just to give you an example -- I asked about the honey they sold in the gift shop -- whether it was warmed in its production. They didn't know. They located the beekeeper and gave me his detailed report. (Not warmed!) It was that way all along. Warm milk for my coffee in my room? No problem! On and on. And every time I passed the reception area or entered the dining room, I was greeted by name. How did they do that?? Do they quiz them on memorization before they hire? I like four and five star hotels. No question. But I don't like unnecessary pomposity or pretentiousness. This hotel had none of that in my view, the stunning chandelier lighting in the public spaces notwithstanding. The staff is friendly and warm. Their smiles seem genuine. I'm hooked! Next time I'm in Paris, I'll stop here at the end again. Easy access to the airport by train, beautiful walks through the vineyards and in the forests of Champagne and Spa treatments to die for. A truly magnificent, well run hotel.
