The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable and we had the best night's sleep there for a long time. Jacky is a fabulous host and, as a professional chef, cooked the most wonderful dinner using beautifully fresh local ingredients. He also presented us with a choice of local wines and we enjoyed a relaxed and entertaining evening conversing and listening to music. Breakfast the next day included breads, various delicious home-made jams, honey, cheese, ham, fruits, yogurts, pancakes and a bowlful (or several) of excellent coffee or tea. Altogether, this was our best stay yet in France, having travelled through for many years en route to Spain, and we are looking forward to our next visit.

A very rural and delightful house beautifully restored over time to provide three rooms - our was on the first floor, very well-equipped and extremely comfortable. Jacky was a very good host (though we got off on the wrong foot by arriving early!!). The main common rooms (lounge and dining room/kitchen were very cosy if a little dark (we think it was to keep the hot sun out). Jacky cooked an excellent meal (salmon wrapped in foil from his mother's recipe). It was a pleasure to have Jacky eat with us and tell of his many travels over the years. After a comfortable night's sleep we enjoyed an excellent breakfast again with Jacky for company and he introduced to some of his home made jams. A very nice place to stop overnight on one's journey back to UK. You need to be quick though as Jacky advised he is retiring next year as he is now getting on! Recommended

N'hésitez pas à vous arrêter et y séjourner, surtout si vous aimez la convivialité et l'esprit chambres d'hôtes et tables d'hôtes comme autrefois. Endroit très calme en pleine campagne. Magnifique longère où on apprécie la fraîcheur surtout en été. Accueil sincère, naturel et spontané de notre hôte. Chambre parfaite : très propre, bonne literie, salle de douche moderne et bien éclairée. Le confort moderne dans une ancienne maison. N'hésitez à réserver la table d'hôtes. C'est un régal comme le petit-déjeuner d'ailleurs. Tout le monde se réunit autour de la grande table : on parle, on échange en différentes langues, on fait connaissance, on se fait comprendre (notre hôte y veille particulièrement et nous y aide), on mange de bonnes choses, on boit du bon vin (heureusement on dort sur place). Attention, le mojito made by Jacky est un délice ! Tout cela dans des prix tout à fait raisonnables. Très chouette moment de convivialité et d'humanisme. Merci
