The room on the first floor is a bit damp and smells of mold. The room is old and not very hygienic. The front desk clerk keeps changing, alternating between Indians and white people. There is an Indian boy who discriminates against Chinese people and is very unfriendly.
Regular coffee is not bad, and the other breakfasts are cakes every day, which are basically negligible. There are fewer choices during the school season, and I probably won't come next time.

This place is wonderful. I have stayed with them two times. The staff is helpful, friendly and responsive. The hotel is clean, comfortable, meets all needs and quiet. I highly recommend it if you are visiting this area, especially any parents University of Illinois visiting their children. Easy parking, good location, easy check in and decent breakfast.

We’ll choose this property again!
Loved the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower. Nice touch to have paper plates and bowls in the breakfast area. The hot breakfast was fantastic!
We appreciated having a cart to bring our luggage up to our room.

Kind of Renovated
Lipstick on a pig -- bed was comfortable and carpet is new. Everythign else is an OLD HOTEL that has KIND OF been redone. If you open your eyes, you're gonna find lots of small issues. If you need an ok place to sleep the night at a lower price, then this is fine. Room doors are old and allow a lot of hallway light into the room.

Good for sleepers, not so much for TV *******
Everything was fine. Generous breakfast! What kept this motel from being a 5 star was the somewhat sub-standard TV in the room (which for me is not that important). But if an overnight traveler was looking forward to a large variety of cable stations and good display quality, they would have been disappointed. Otherwise, very nice room.

Hotel was located right off interstate. The parking lot was well lit. The rooms were clean amd comfortable. The continental breakfast wasn't bad. First time ever staying at a Sleep Inn, would stay again.

Check-in took longer than I am used to.
Breakfast was poor in many respects. Biscuits were not edible, like bricks, could not cut with knife.
Sausage was not good flavor.
Coffee was not hot.

Great hotel. Friendly staff.
Overall, this is a great property. The rooms are updated, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The property is quiet and conveniently located. Our only issues was our room was so hot we had to turn the AC on even though it was only 40-something degrees outside and the breakfast was just okay. The potatoes were great, but the rest was just okay—edible, but not great. Overall, it was worth the price we paid.
