Actually we are not stay at the La Croix Blanche but Alpina Electric Hotel, this is due to La Croix Blanche due to low season, but with their arrangement, we managed to stay at Alpina Electric Hotel, which is very good stay. Thanks for the such good arrangement.

Above all, the photos and the actual interior were so different that I stopped by the receptionist and asked if it was the same. The room was so old, it was 200,000 won per night. I was staying here to start my TMB, but they even charged 5 euros per piece per day for luggage. My friend and I were planning a week-long trek, and the luggage storage fee was 80 euros (130,000 won). We just left and left it at a nearby information desk.

The hotel is in a wonderful location on a main street in Chamonix. It is convenient to everything. You couldn't have a lovelier view. I could see Mont Blanc from my balcony window.

Spend a little more go someplace else
Room was a nice size but probably should have been updated 20 years ago. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The shower head was broken. We let the front desk know about it st 8 am. We were told it would be fixed while we were out for the day. When we came back at 7:30 pm the shower head had not been fixed. My husband got tools from the front desk to try to fix it himself so we could use it, but he could not fix it. The only good thing we have to say about this hotel is the location was great, and very friendly staff. We are not people who stay at expensive hotels so we are not terribly picky but this one was really a bad experience. You would be better off spending a little more money and going someplace else. I know we will never stay there again.

Hardly worth the two stars
The place is desperate for a refurbishment, would certainly not book it again as the room we stayed in was dirty and falling apart.

The staff was very kind and helpful and the location can't be beat. The condition of the property, however, wasn't great, including worn carpets and peeling wallpaper. It was clean and in a great part of town, but needs some serious upgrading.
