It is a wonderful older inn that was a large summer home in the past. I love beautiful, older places like like this and it was great to see it so well taken care of. The hostess was tremendous and prepared a delicious breakfast for the guests. I loved it there and I would return.

During midweek after a day visiting historic sites, we overnighted at The Inn at Ragged Edge, a short drive from I-81. We enjoyed a delightful stay – from Barb’s welcome through breakfast the following morning. Between the main and second floors, one has a grand view of a small stream behind the house from a stairway landing. Our spacious second-floor room included a fine view of grounds plus a separate room for the refrigerator. Perhaps the most distinctive experience was hearing the historic Steinway piano as its music wafted from the main floor to the upper floors. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This Inn was absolutely breathtaking and the history behind it was fascinating! The owners were welcoming and made us feel at home. The best breakfast I have had at a BnB. They really have thought of everything from the decor to the plating of the food. The grounds were immaculate. We hope to return one day!

Beautiful ! I loved my large bath tub and had great homemade breakfast..The grounds are gorgeous &serene..The hosts do an awesome job !!It was my boyfriend 's first time visiting and he absolutely loved it as well..We look forward to making another trip!!

This B&B is a true treasure. The Victorian-era manor has been updated beautifully while retaining its historic charm. Our room was luxurious, comfortable and very clean. The whirlpool tub was such an amazing way to relax, and the plush, king sized bed was perfect. There is a nature path on property that we enjoyed immensely - full of blooming honeysuckle. Barb was so gracious and welcoming and was happy to chat and get to know us. Breakfast was homemade and served at 8:30am, which was perfect for me and my husband. It was delicious and beautifully presented. Some tips: Check out the website! Each room is unique with its own layout and amenities. The photos are accurate - in fact, I found the property to be even more impressive in person. This is not the right place for families with children under 6. Check-in between 3pm and 6pm and breakfast is at 8:30am. If that sounds good, you'll love this beautiful inn! I know we'll be back.

We loved staying at the Ragged Edge Inn. It's absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The hostess Barb was very welcoming and her breakfast was the best! We've stayed twice and look forward to coming back someday.

The bones of this building are fantastic and the view is out of this world. The room we stayed in needed a little work. The chair had both arms badly frayed and the love seat, when you sat in it, you about sank to the floor. The bath tub had a constant drip and the toilet was very difficult to flush. The transom with light coming in from the hallway was a little bothersome when trying to sleep. The wrap around porch is very fun to sit on and the breakfast is out of this world.

Don;t let the neighborhood fool you, this inn has a gorgeous, streamside property in a residential neighborhood, only five minutes from everything Chambersburg has to offer. The house is grand, the patios and covered porches inviting and the grounds definitely deserve to be explored. The rooms are comfortaable and the snack room open all night is a great convenience. Breakfast was wonderful, served in a room steeped in history. The innkeepers were knowledgeable about the Inn, the town, restaurants and activities and available when needed. The room was large with a bonus, a kitchen and steam shower that were unexpected. Plenty of blankets, gorgeous gardens, and so peaceful.

This will be a unique review. My lady and I were set to stay there on both Sat, Apri 1, but we needed to cancel. We had to 'eat' the loss of $170 with zero help from the property. We did the same on April 15, but I contacted to the Inn to cancel the reservation in hopes of them still getting paid and us using a room in the future. No go! All they care about is their so called CNL policy versus the customer. They pocketed over 350 dollars and did absolutely nothing for us. Be advised they WILL NOT work with you on anything that takes money (i.e. filthy lucre) out of their pocket.
