Heritage Awali Golf and Spa Resort

A heavenly hotel with a 6 star service of staff. This is how I would describe my stay. It was beyond my expectation. Seven years ago, I first visited the hotel but had a bad experience. But this time my stay was a heavenly one. Jay, the guru , he is a professional employee and knows his job and knows how to bring a smile and please the guests. He remained with us till our departure and bid us good bye to a promise to be back again. He also gave us late check out with his team Merry and Sawan on 21 april. Micheal helped me when I was not feeling well during check in. Bholah welcomed us in our room 3207 on 19 april. At the zanzibar, Mackenzie prepared nice cocktails for me. I had a medical condition which Stephane and Jennifer from Savannah Restaurant helped me Even, Vymal from Zanzibar helped me and set my table for me to have my breakfast. I will never forget these people who have helped knowing knowing my medical condition. There is 1 lady whom I will also never forget Yovishni from Zafrani restaurant, she made sure we were well served and looked after me and my family. She looked after us in Infinity Blue restaurant as well. Vayraj, my son's favourite Ronaldo also served us in Infinity blue restaurant and bar and Savanna restaurant. A chef made a heart shape pizza for me on Saturday 20 april, i can't remember his name. Angelique and Anais of Savana Restaurant looked after us well. I must also salute Jean Paul who made my kids ate indian food, my daughter loved the butter chicken and my son the madras lamb curry at the Zafrani Restaurant. At the Zafrani Restaurant, the food by Chef Harijit Singh like Arijit Singh's brother which I tease him was excellent and great service by Priya and Vishesh( I was sad to know he will not be there soon, please an appeal to make him comeback) Dear Mr Jérôme Carlier, you have an excellent team, let me say family at Heritage Awali Resort. Hats off to you to have lead such a great team. Each and every staff had that magical human touch which made my stay memorable and heavenly. Only 2 suggestion if you permit Sir: please include the minibar in all inclusive package and please put a toilet faucet spray and tap to ease toiletage in toilets of all rooms.

The Island and the people are lovely! We loved the hotel and the staff who worked for our comfort. The SPA was incredibly nice and did a lot of good for our muscles. a family feeling that we take with us and look forward to the next trip to Mauritius.

This hotel is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurants are all great with a very wide choice of food. Bar service could have been more efficient in occasions. We had a ground floor sea view room which was lovely. The shower cubicle could do with a rail in it to hold onto. The outside space was very good all over the complex. We had sunbeds outside our room. All in all very spoilt. Golf course was very good too.

We visited as a family of 4 for 9 nights at Awali. Really enjoyed our time at the resort. There are various different restaurants to choose from, all with great food. The kids club was amazing for our 4 year old twins. They normally do not like to spend time at places like that, but they begged us to go again and again. So they must do something right. The room was more than big enough for all 4 of us to stay together without it feeling cramped. The view of the sunset was also fantastic from the room. There are ample water activities to choose from, most of which are free. Also you have the opportunity to play some world class golf courses as well. Great resort, can’t wait to go back again.

Fabulous hotel and resort with beautiful landscaped gardens on the coast. Our beachfront room was spacious and opened up to a stunning view of turquoise ocean framed by palm trees. We were well looked after by Vhimla from housekeeping who was friendly and keen to ensure we had everything we needed. This was our first all-inclusive experience and we were not disappointed. The restaurants in the resort and at the sister hotel next door were excellent with a wide variety of delicious cuisines on offer. Our favourites were Affinity Blue, especially for lunch, and Ginja. All the staff throughout the resort were amicable and helpful. Breakfast was sometimes a little frantic but the beach vibes at lunch and the mellow ambience in the evening made varied and delicious dining options. The rum cocktails were the perfect sundowner tipple. The spa and the many activities on site provided daily choices for all. Trips were easy to book and the adjoining golf course was well worth a visit for all standards of golfer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

We stayed at this resort as a family and from the moment we arrived to the moment we had to come home we had the most amazing time. All of the staff were always so helpful and accommodating. The food was out of this world - so many restaurants to choose from - but the buffet restaurant was fab though as had a different theme each night so no need to worry about it not being varied. The staff were amazing with our two children always making sure they had whatever they needed. The Timomo kids club - as far as kids clubs go this truly is by far the best we have experienced. The whole team were just amazing there are so many activities for the kids they really do go all out. Our son Enzo was 9 1/2 months and he was so well looked after when he attended which was so reassuring he was always so happy when we picked him up. Our daugther Sienna had a blast too she was always telling us about all the fun activities and adventures they had and couldn't wait to go back. Honestly the whole trip was amazing and we will definately book to come back thank you to all at Heritage Awali for making this a holiday of a lifetime :) If you are looking for a place where you can have family time together, some couple time, and enjoy lovely beaches and of course snorkelling then look no further Thank you the Freeman/Goodridge family

The entertainment team were amazing! My brother and I are extremely sporty and so being asked to get involved in the football, table tennis, archery, volleyball and lots more meant the world to us. Special thanks to Zacharie, Niven, Ivan, Cassy, Stephan, Damien, Christabelle and Nicholas 🙌🏻🙌🏻 you guys are top ! Always making us feel welcome and can see why the younger families with little ones also love you all !! See you next time 🫡

We recently spent a wonderful vacation at Heritage Awali Mauritius, and while our overall experience was delightful, there were some areas that fell short of our expectations. The food was exceptional, with a wide range of delicious options to suit every taste. Some of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. However, the age and condition of the resort, particularly the rooms, were noticeable. While we paid a 5-star rate, the rooms didn't quite meet the standards we'd expect from a luxury resort. An upgrade is overdue to bring the facilities up to par. Despite this, we still had a great time and appreciated the friendly service and stunning surroundings. With some renovations and attention to detail, Heritage Awali could truly shine as a 5-star destination.
