The Serai Bandipur

Our stay at The Sarai Bandipur was a fantastic experience. The resort is spacious, with large rooms and an excellent view from the restaurant, located peacefully close to the jungle. We frequently saw deer and elephants nearby, and even deer within the resort grounds in the morning. The service was a highlight; the staff is incredibly friendly, humble, and always ready to help. The food was also very good, especially the breakfast buffet with its wide variety and live cooking stations. We highly recommend The Sarai Bandipur for anyone seeking a peaceful escape with great hospitality and a true connection to nature.

Loved the property. Its just next to forest. Deers come inside property in the night, you can see peacocks in the morning. Very peaceful, calming. Overall good experience. They have arranged safari and transportation to it at reasonable price. Food could have been better. Hospitality is good.

We originally planned to stay at The Serai Bandipur for just two days, but we ended up extending to four — that’s how wonderful it was. Even though tiger safaris were temporarily suspended due to a recent incident in the area, our experience at the resort was exceptionally rewarding. What made our stay truly special were the people. We especially enjoyed the conversations with the hotel manager, Rohid, who generously shared his knowledge about the region and made us feel genuinely welcome. The entire staff impressed us with their kindness and attentiveness. One evening, we happened to be the only guests at the resort, and Chef Raju together with Baseavanna from the service team surprised us with a beautiful candlelight dinner by the pool. The food was outstanding, and the gesture made the evening unforgettable. We will always remember our time at this stunning place in the middle of nature, surrounded by wonderful people. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience heartfelt hospitality.

We recently stayed at The Serai Bandipur for one night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Overall, our experience was enjoyable, but there are some areas that can be improved to provide a truly five-star experience. **Pros:** - The property is beautifully maintained and gives a premium feel throughout our stay.[1] - The rooms are clean and comfortable, making for a relaxing environment.[1] - Staff members were well-behaved, courteous, and attentive.[1] - Birthday decorations in the room were thoughtfully arranged and much appreciated.[1] **Cons:** - The TV in the room is outdated; upgrading to an Android TV would be a small investment that makes a big difference in guest comfort.[1] - The AC in our room was not functioning properly and made the stay less comfortable during warmer parts of the day.[1] - Food was below average compared to expectations for a property of this standard; even after speaking with the chef, the taste and quality were not up to the mark.[1] - The restaurant area was uncomfortably hot; it would be helpful if windows were opened or the air conditioning was used as needed.[1] - The birthday cake provided was also below average and not in line with Serai’s usual standards.[1] Overall, we liked the attention to detail in property upkeep and staff hospitality. With improvements in food quality and some in-room amenities, the Serai Bandipur can deliver an even more memorable experience.

Stay was good and best relaxation place because you stay in the forest. Loved environment and staff hospitality. Food is good, nature walk is must so you can experience about birds, animals, plants, trees and so on. Overall must visiting place.
