Room was spotless as was the corner shower and loo. Easy to find hotel plenty parking -very convenient stop midway on return from ski ing. Traffic delayed us so arrived later than planned-ate in adjoining restaurant and that was also excellent . Breakfast was good quality-lots of choice ( but no marmite😂)

I'm very attentive about this hotel. The hotel is located in the right places, you can make all the Chalons walking distance, and there is a large free parking 100 m ( Mathias parking for the guests). The bad sides are a lot to look at, you need to deconnect the TV to shut it off, the boiler doesn't work, and the air condition makes the noise even shut off. The room is not very large and I don't understand why the TV is not in front of the bed, and in the bathroom I had to put my toilet box on the ground because there is no place next to the laundry! A good advice: don't take heavy baggage, there are stairs everywhere and no lift.

This is a spa hotel, with prices to match. Staff were friendly and accommodating, room of a good standard. We stayed over a weekend (Saturday, Sunday nights, so the spa was busy- They have memberships for people that are not staying in the hotel, however, this cleared later on the Saturday afternoon. Good sized pool. The main restaurant was closed on our second night, so ate in their bistro- Surprised to find it was exactly the same menu at a considerably lower price. Whilst I accept the atmosphere and service reflected the difference between the two rooms, I did feel short changed by the experience. The staff in the restaurant were somewhat inexperienced, but no real complaint- I accept that it is difficult to get staff anywhere at the moment. There are Electric Vehicle charging points (I saw 2), and welcomed that they were free. I estimated the charging at 3.5 KW/h. As I have a plug-in Hybrid, this was fine, but if you had a full EV, I think it would be a struggle to get a full charge. I noted there was always cars using the chargers while we were there.

This is of course similar to other Campaniles and that is the point. It has pleasant and welcoming staff and good car parking facilities. The rooms are good at this level. Access is straightforward from the motorway. The centre of Chalon is quite a long walk but doable. Location is quiet and you help your self to teas and coffees for the room. Altogether good considering this type of hotel offer and price.

Very warm hotel, facilities are not bad in all aspects, the staff is very good, the location is very good, about 10 minutes walk from Dashalong National Conservatory of Music, breakfast is very good, overall satisfaction.
