Brandywine Lake 20 minutes drive. You must add your pet to the guest list, there is a $25 fee per stay. We are not near the interstate. You will be about 15-20 minutes from I81 and the nearest City. This cabin is a small (640sqft) yet comfortable space at the foot of a mountain. You will travel up a gravel road to the private driveway with plenty of parking space.In winter months if there is snow tou will need 4WD. It has a queen bed in bedroom one and two twins in bedroom two. The living room has a full sleeper sofa. This cabin uses a cistern for water source, its filled with filtered water. We supply water bottles for drinking. No washer or dryer. Included in your stay:Complementary "make your own" waffle breakfast and instant cereals. Coffee, tea, creamer, whole milk and juices. There is not a washer and dryer, so be sure to pack enough clothes for your trip (or plan a short trip to Elkton for a laundromat).The driveway fits 3 cars in front of the property.Additional parking for 2 vehicles is available in the rear at the bottom of the hill. Just walk up the trail to the top.The house is 5 minutes from the ski area and about 8 minutes from the water park. Two golf courses are easily accessible and Painter's Pond is just down the road if you're in the mood for catch-and-release fishing.SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubingand kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/ outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by ourguests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website.**Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends.
