You can walk or drive the short distance to the waters edge from the end of the driveway to enjoy everything Lake Greeson has to offer, whether it be a day of swimming, floating, fishing, kayaking or tie the boat up and walk up to the house for a snack and a little rest after a full day on the lake of water sports. The home is tucked in woods very close to the lake, very quite and peaceful location The home is 1500 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 baths with a 16 x 24 covered screened in porch with plenty of seating for those great times spent listening to all the sounds of the outdoors, there is a covered cooking area on the back with a stainless Holland gas grill for any grilling needs. There is also a 14x30 covered carport that can be used to park your boat or vehicles under (if owners boat is not under it at the time) There is plenty of parking , you are not jammed right next to a neighbor with very little parking or yard space like a lot of homes on this lake are, very private location, the home sits on a 1 acre lots with tons of trees, very shaded and joins the Corp of Engineers boundary line around Lake Greeson, no homes will be built between us and the lake, we are located at the end of the street so hardly any traffic which is great for the kids to play and have fun. The Old Mill Cabin #1 is located on the Little Missouri River just one mile north of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, home of the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Our property is located on the site of the historic Royston Grist, lumber and textile mill. Fully furnished with all the amenities of home. Just a few minutes to restaurants, entertainment, public diamond mine and shopping, yet in a peaceful, quiet setting.The spaceOld Mill Cabin #1 has a master bedroom with queen bed and private full bath. Bedrooms #2 and #3 each have a queen bed and shared full Jack-and-Jill bath. Also in the shared bathroom is a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. Both bathrooms have linens and hairdryers available. Spacious front deck with and a spacious back deck with dining table, extra seating and a grill. Located on ten shared acres with Cabin #2. There is plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run, play games, or to just enjoy the peace and quiet.Other things to noteThere is no hunting allowed on the property. Cabin 2, better known as the "small” cabin, comfortability sleeps 10 adults. There are 2 bedrooms, and a huge loft that has been made into a 3rd bedroom, as well as two full baths downstairs. There is a master suite with attached bathroom and queen size bed, 1 bedroom with a single queen, and a loft with 3 queen beds. Cabin 2 also has a huge deck overlooking the river, fully furnished with lounge chairs for sitting in the sun, several tables, and a swing. There is also a large fire pit on the property to enjoy a fire after the sun goes down. It's the perfect place to pic a guitar and look at the stars!With the purchase of a fishing license, put a line in the river! Arkansas Fish and Game stock the river with trout and they are always fun to fish. Please make yourself familiar with the fishing regulations in this area, and we ask you to be responsible with our resources. The cabin is located right outside the wonderful, quaint little town of Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Located in the Crater of Diamonds State Park, you can explore and mine diamonds! Right on the river! Enjoy our 5 acres of secluded mountain forest perfect for getting out of the city and into nature. Just down the road from us is 37,000 acres of wildlife management area. Fish right from our deck or the riverbank. Deer and turkey abound. We are only 7 miles away from Crater of Diamonds State Park. 18 miles from Glenwood where you can kayak the Caddo River. 35 miles from Caddo Gap hiking trails and our favorite, Winding Stair hike. Bring your ATVs for nearby trails. Lake Greeson is 6 miles away and offers pontoon rentals, and boating activities. King bedroom that has the queen sleeper sofa is a DETATCHED grandmothers suite and the bunkroom on the ground floor of the main cabin with the kitchen. The property is remote and it would be difficult for a Porshe to manage the road, our neighbors Prius made the trip.... any SUV is fine. The gravel road into the cabin is a mile long and has some steep hills. The cabin is not really designed for large people. The ceiling height in the kitchen, bunk room and outdoor kitchen area is 6'2" , the indoor staircase is relatively narrow and the furniture is not designed for large people over 250 lbs.
