One of four historic cabins on our property, located just 10 minutes from Fort Mountain State Park, 25 minutes from Ellijay, and 45 minutes from Blue Ridge. Come enjoy hiking, mountain biking, local history, or simply relax by the creek that borders the property. The hosts and their dogs are happy to let you enjoy your stay in peace, or to visit and tell you more about the area!The cabin is set on a 8 acre property, along with three other rental cabins, all original log cabins from the late 18th, early 19th century. The hosts live on the property, along with their friendly dogs. You’ll likely see them working outside, whether it be in the garden, with the chickens, or tending to the dairy goats.On the main floor of this two story “dogtrot” cabin you’ll find a cozy living room, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom. The living room has a smart TV, books, and games. The kitchen is stocked with necessities for cooking, as well as a dining table for enjoying your meals! In the full bathroom you’ll find a washer and dryer that are available for guest use. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a full sized bed, the other with a queen sized bed. There is a half bathroom located in between the two bedrooms.There is a front deck and a back screened-in porch to this cabin! The front deck has a swing where you can enjoy looking out onto the rest of the property. The back porch allows a secluded space for more privacy. Sammy the cat may visit you while you’re outside.
