The kitchen includes a full size electric range with oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeepot, toaster, cookware and dinnerware. The dining area has a table with 4 chairs. We provide pillows, blankets and bedspreads. Guests bring their own sheets and towels. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room We provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a bath mat. The bathroom has a shower (no tub), toilet and sink. We are located 6.5 miles south of Huntingdon. We are 5 miles from Allegrippis Trail for biking enthusiasts and Raystown Lake for water sports. The rolling countryside includes creeks and the Juniata River offering many options for hiking, birdwatching, fishing, hunting, boating, whatever the nature-lover desires. We are approximately 8 miles (15 minutes) from Juniata College and 37 miles (45 minutes) from State College and Penn State University.Completely furnished with most of the comforts of home, we rent by the night, the week, or the month from March 1 thru December 1 (weather permitting). Because of this we do have rodent poison around the cabin and under appliances/furniture. While we have not had any issues, there is always the chance that a critter sneaks in through an open door, etc. **Please make sure doors remain shut to avoid this.** Please also avoid any children or pets going under furniture or appliances.Wasp Spray: We will have bottles of wasp spray on the front porch for summer months, although we haven’t seen many bees/wasps for some time.Windows & AC: If you use the Central Air, please close all the windows.
