Maybe in the future. Firepit and wood burning in the backyard or outside around the property is not allowed and is against the law.• On occasion, during extreme weather, Big Bear can experience rolling power/internet outages. Rest assured, they will restore it as quickly as possible. There are candles and flash lights provided for emergency. Please notify host immediately. • During winter snow season, we provide a one time plowing service per booking if the snow is about 4-6inch high. Anything less, you can use the shovel tool in the backyard to remove snow. Additional snow plow will be extra charge.• The furnace is in the living room and another upstairs hallway. There is a portable Dyson heater and window portable AC provided for the smallest bedroom and the other 2 bedrooms have the AC split unit with heater to keep you warm during winter months and cool during Summer months. In addition there are ceiling fans in each bedroom. Pls notify host if heater and AC stop working or have problems. We will call our handyman for help within the hour. • Any damages or extra cleaning than the usual will be charged accordingly; such as trash, dirt, shoe prints, stains, scratched surfaces, dirty dishes and ants or roach infestation, as well as flood/water and fire damages.• Please review and agree to all House Rules and info prior to booking. Therefore, guests may have to shovel a spot to park if they arrive before the snow removal company or if it snows during their stay. There have been times in more significant storms (2ft+ of snowfall) when snow removal can take longer. It doesn’t happen often, and our other guests have always been able to make it work. Our home is 1 mile away from The Convention Center where they have live bands, foods, Maifest, Octoberfest & many other events. Our home has 3 bedrooms: 6 comfy beds, 2.5 bathrooms. Casa MediaNoche is a 1140 square foot modified A-Frame cabin that features 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a beautiful living room. The cabin was designed by our family for your family and is the culmination of love, hardwork and dedication from my family who participated in design, decoration and work.The Main FloorWalk in and step on the warm, new laminate wood floors that cover the entire main floor. The interior of this cabin is an exquisite blend of modern and natural beauty. The living room with stone fireplace is beautifully furnished and has plenty of bright natural light and spacious enough for six but intimate enough for two. The kitchen features a new 5-burner stovetop with oven, stylish painted cabinets with quartz counters and stainless steel appliances. It has LED lighted open shelves made from natural wood stained to match the beauty of the tongue and groove walls. The kitchen has a mounted hand-made table made by our family, that is big enough for six with a small footprint keeping the kitchen open. The full bathroom is well stocked with plush towels and a hair dryers. An accent wall is decorated with lively wall paper and a beautiful mirror to admire yourself. Lastly let’s not forget the laundry room/mud room with a washer and dryer.Second FloorThe upper level comes with warm, new carpeting and houses the two bedrooms. Master bedroom has a new comfortable queen size mattress with plenty of pillows for comfortable sleeping and a closet for storage. The second bedroom has two twin beds also with comfortable, new mattresses and a teepe for the kiddos to enjoy. Each room has ample drawered storage for those extended stays.Home EntertainmentCasa MediaNoche is a modern cabin with an abundance of entertainment inside and out. Featuring Wi-Fi, (3) Hi-Def Smart TV's(65” in living room, 55” master bedroom and “50 in 2nd bedroom), (1) Amazon Echo in Kitchen, board games, cards, and plenty of reading material for kids of all ages. Outdoor Living SpacePlacing an equal emphasis on outdoor living the grounds features a spacious green lawn to play catch, lay out or play with your furry pets who will love the fenced in backyard. There is ample seating to eat those burgers or steaks you make on the new stainless BBQ. We also have a super fun children’s Ax-Throwing game that even adults will enjoy. During early spring we creek running behind the yard that is beautiful to see and hear.As u can see this is the perfect getaway for you to plug in and connect with your family and make great memories.
