Two Fat Ponies is designed as a couples retreat and offers two cosy log cabins perched side by side five hundred metres up the driveway off 60 Saw Mill Road, Sevenhill. Cute and quaint, the log cabin accommodation is quiet and in a romantic setting.Each cabin is equipped with Queen size beds, a bathroom, lounge area and a kitchenette. Both the Sunrise and Sunset cabins enjoy spectacular views, as well as air conditioning in the summer and pot belly fires in the winter, (firewood is available for purchase). In the mornings, you will wake to the sounds of the abundant birdlife and the odd kangaroo and wild deer. It is a bird watchers paradise. The night skies resemble a planetarium when the skies are clear of cloud cover. Astronomy lovers have stayed to view the spectacular vision of stars from the cabins high up on the hill!Guests are welcome to stroll around the property via the pathways and take photos of their experience, as it’s a unique opportunity to have access to a working vineyard and to enjoy the feeling of having the tranquil property to yourself! The owner’s animal family also live on the vineyard, and you may see two very cute ponies, some pet sheep and a very active working dog who will love to play fetch with you!Whether it is a barbeque with magnificent views from the cabin or a picnic down by the dam, it’s an ideal setting for romance, and to enjoy a platter and a few wines to finish off your day of touring the region. There is a fire pit and guests are encouraged to fire it up.Two Fat Ponies – “How’s the serentity!”Guest accessGuests have access to the entire cabin and are welcome to walk around the property using the paths.Other things to noteBe prepared to have a fantastic unique working vineyard experience although you may experience some dust especially in drier months. Even with regular pest control we have millepedes who come and visit the cabins especially during harvest and after the rain! As with all country living there may be the occasional creepy crawler visitors but we supply bug spray and a dust buster.Please note that we are not able to accept bookings with infants and children under 12 years of age due to safety issues.
