A further 5 minutes along the channel Hwy will find you in Kettering where you can catch a bite at the Oyster Cove Inn, the Gateway cafe, Steam house cafe or a quick take-away at Kettering Central. The Cabin is on 5 acres of bush, and is built from trees milled on site. The property is also home to a labyrinth, which you are welcome to walk, A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. Our 3 bedroom cabin boasts sweeping 180 degree views from Mt Wellington across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island & Fluted Cape. Spend winter nights around the firepit chasing the Aurora Australis or relax on the deck in summer taking in the views of Wedgetail Eagles and other local wildlife.Enjoy our comfortable, modern, countryside cabin while you bask in the beauty of Tasmania. Things to note:- Although we provide bedding for 5 people and can accommodate up to 5 adults - we would suggest the cabin is modest and is more designed for 3-4 people in mind including children. Please also note there is an outdoor table only to ensure the cabin is spacious. The fire provided is a wonderful way to spend an evening, however it maybe unavailable during Fire Restriction periods here in Tasmania.
