Travelodge Oldham Chadderton Hotel

I am very unhappy and disappointed with my recent stay. I stayed in room 202 last night and from around 1:00am until 6:30am there was a lady stood outside the hotel shouting and making noise. This made it impossible to get any proper sleep. I eventually had to ring reception at 6:30am to report this. I expected a comfortable and restful stay, but this experience left me very dissatisfied. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Booked This hotel for a family wedding, the hotel is old however the room was spotless. Easy check in and greeted with a smile, all staff were lovely. Staff were helpful with any queries we had. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel to friends and family in the future, had a great stay!

The hotel is desperately in need of a revamp. The cleanliness of the rooms is extremely poor. Do not pay for the breakfast as its a rip off

I was greeted by Natalie, very welcoming and friendly. Very happy to help with anything i needed. Check in was quick and easy. The room was basic but had everything i needed. A very comfortable bed gave me a great nights sleep. Free parking and a Toby carvery next door are perfect. Looking forward to staying again soon

Travelodge at Chadderton was a very comfortable and reliable option for temporary stays. We stayed for a week and the rooms were clear, staff was very friendly and welcoming and location is close to restaurants and eateries.

We stayed in room 203 upstairs , and the room initially felt damp when we first arrived with a very musty smell. I had to turn on the wall heater, which had an awful smell from not being used. The room then got very warm at night and we couldnt have the window open as the room was beside a main road. The room itself was mediocre for how much we paid. The carpet was covered in dirty brown stains that looked like blood. The interior of the room also felt quite outdated with some furtniture looking damaged/scratched. The Samsung TV was great and was positioned wonderfully on the desk but would've been better if it was a smart tv, that could access netflix. Maybe get an Amazon firestick for each room? You also have to pay for wifi which in my opinion is a disgrace considering we paid a lot of money already for two nights. To me, it feels like travelodge is going downhill and isnt really keep up standards with other budget hotels (Depending on location, maybe?). Especially when you're being charged for wifi and with our room being in a disgusting condition. Any time I tried to look for staff they initially werent at the desk and I was kinda just standing waiting for them, knowing they were in the room beside reception. All that was there was a sign with a number to ring, but why would I when they are right there and cant even here me knock on the counter. There should be a bell for when you're looking for them. I understand Travelodge is a budget hotel, but it really does feel like the company is trying to skimp and save. We also stayed in Room 203. The rooms should also be updated to keycards instead of keys, especially if someone disabled was trying to get into their room.
