we enjoyed our stay here, the property feels homey and quaint and because we got the premium room there was a huge bathroom and sauna. the location turned out to be a real plus away from the crowds yet a short stroll to town, it was also beside a river with great restaurants with very reasonable menus. I highly recommend the Bavernia with the Bernard parasols.

Big and comfy room with nice breakfast provided

The room was quite clean, but the lighting was a bit lacking. It was an older hotel, so some areas were damaged, such as the internal lock and a broken light bulb. Overall, it was acceptable.

The house is big and clean have tv But there is no elevator, you need to carry your luggage by yourself But the front desk of the hotel is friendly and the service is very good Willing to help customers solve problems.

Environmental services are good

Attractive exterior. Breakfast was decent. The room had very shabby and not much by the way if furniture. There was zero decoration, no curtains or carpeting so that there was an echo. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Dust along baseboards and holes in sheets. The shower/tub combo had no shield or barrier so that water sprays all over. Toilet was child size, very low to the floor. My room 106 was next to restaurant so it was noisy until after midnight and started up again at 4 am. No hair dryer. I cannot recommend this hotel.

The property is outdated. The rooms have very old interior and furniture. No water or coffee/tea in the room which was a surprise. Checkout is at 10 am. The sauna wasn’t available. Not worth it.

Well located for visiting the center, with (paid) parking spaces for guests. Rooms vary, the large one on 2nd floor we got was nice, with river views. Breakfast was fine.

The location of the property is fine. There is an open parking place. Unfortunately those are the only two things that I can consider positives. Our room was in a very bad condition. I understand and I even like to have old furniture in the room of a hotel, but it must be in good condition and not falling apart. Carpets and curtains were in bad conditions too. The whole room including the bathroom should not be rented until it is renovated. The worse thing was the service. The people from the “ reception “ were inefficient and not helpful at all. We asked for un extension to connect the night table lamp since there was not any plug. Surprise! They never come to help with it. The minibar was empty, we informed them and they said that we could ask for refreshment , water, etc in the restaurant. Fine, we arrived from the city one evening and they said that they could not provide any beverage since the restaurant was closed. So they had closed it two hours before without previous information. The breakfast… mmm, maybe just acceptable… A very unpleasant stay. It is not our first time in the city and in our previous visit we had gotten a beautiful pension, elegant, clean, everything fine for a much better price. Four stars??? Come on!!!

Somewhat dated but nice property. Beds are very soft and tub/shower had no curtain or way of blocking shower water. Check-in staff could learn to advise wifi password at check-in....

Nice hotel, great view of the cathedral, good breakfast, but the restaurant staff still needs to improve.

It was a little outside the city center, along the park, so it was a very quiet environment. The suite was very spacious, and the furniture was cabriole-legged, just like the furniture we saw at the castle, so we were very satisfied with the atmosphere. There was no air conditioning in the room, but it was early September, so the sun was strong during the day, but it was cool at night, so it wasn't a problem. We enjoyed a variety of breakfast items, including bacon and ham, but the only problem was that there was no water or a kettle in the room, so we had to buy them at a mini market in town.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. Quiet location and good parking.
