The New Inn at Cerne Abbas is a delightful gem, welcoming everyone from solo travelers to families and their furry friends. We always stay here every year whilst my husband does the 50 K walk. This year we booked a cottage, I was fortunate to have Sunday lunch it’s such a lovely place to stay and the food is exceptional. Never been disappointed. So welcoming and nothing seems to be any bother at all. See you next year.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Excellent rooms that make you feel at home but also somewhere special. Amazing food and a fabulous bar. The staff and owners are so friendly and welcoming. From the moment you arrive it feels like a warm and welcoming place, one that you want to spend time in. Once you're there you don't need to go anywhere else. Will be going again!

Great lunch time menu. I had a stunning Cornish Plaice buttered capers, citrus leaves and french fries- which complimented each other perfectly. My wife went for Aubergine gratinee and was equally impressed. I had pear parfait and the better half had affrogato. My favourite meal of the last 3 months.

Nothing to much trouble, friendly and helpful staff. Nice food excellent breakfast, nice rooms. Great location. Would recommend and would stay again. Great base for coast and walks. Lots to explore in the area. Room was lovely and warm. Would stay again. Good beer

We haven't stayed at The New Inn for a few years but returning was to find the same welcome and high standards as previously. Annette Julian and their team provided a delightful stay and enjoyable dining. The New Inn is comfortable warm and welcoming and the culinary standards are high and we certainly will return in the future.

Fabulous stay at The New Inn. We took our dog and stayed in dog friendly room. Very clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is amazing. We had breakfast and evening meals while there and everything was perfect. Beautiful location. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely lovely stay. We were here for a wedding, but we were royally well looked after. The room was seriously well appointed and a delight. We had a lovely glass of wine in the bar - delicious. And our breakfast was great - lovely food and fantastic service. A great combination and we highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back.
