Belson Hotel Ternate

Hotel Belson is located inside a local residential area. It feels a bit unusual at first, but it is actually fine if you want to experience staying among locals and blend into the neighborhood. The hotel itself is very comfortable, smells nice, and is exceptionally clean. That part was genuinely impressive. The main downside is the internet, which is extremely slow and unreliable. Another small inconvenience is that only one room key is provided. Breakfast is very basic, nothing memorable. The staff member handling breakfast was quite unfriendly. A simple smile toward guests would go a long way. On the other hand, the front desk receptionists were very kind, helpful, and welcoming. That is essentially my experience. Photos are attached below. Would I come back again? Yes and no. Yes, if similar hotels around the area are significantly more expensive. No, if there are comparable hotels at the same price point. Thanks.

This is an excellently run hotel - all the more unexpected given the place - and strongly recommended if you are in Ternate. The hotel was modernised a few years ago. The interiors are fresh and very functional. The front desk team are very friendly and professional - personally checking the room before releasing it. My room was better designed, equipped and cleaner than most KL Airbnbs/hotels I've stayed in recently. The bathroom shower glass and mirrors were almost spotless... amazing. Breakfast was a decent buffet - pastries, fruit, toast, local hot dishes (really good!) - with clean, modern utensils and plates. Great job! The location is quiet but a walk to the waterfront market area. Straight up the road to Moya and one of the routes to the mountain. 15 mins from the airport. Overall, there is nothing to fault these guys. Yes, no gym, pool, big terrace, etc, but if you want a friendly, safe, clean, very functional space with a comfy bed, decent shower, and workable internet - Belson Hotel is your place.

Hotel staff were kind, respectful, informative & helpful. The front receptionist, Windy, took extra great care of me. She made me feel comfortable, safe & made me want to comeback to Ternate & stay at Belson Hotel. Highly recommend.

good location, staff are curteous and helpful. Breakfast is simple, can be improved . Smoking guests disturb atmosphere of the restaurant. Rooms are cleaned regularly and staff are efficient .

Booked the deluxe room for an elderly friend travelling with me. It's much bigger than the standard/superior rooms. Worth the upgrade.

The decoration is very exquisite. This is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in ternate
