I will stay here when I travel to Butterworth. Easy access to PLUS highway and Kulim-Butterworth highway, near the shopping mall too, just across the street. Stay for 3D2N during Hari Raya and they decorate the lobby nicely. Friendly front desk staff. Fast check-in and check-out. Everything is good; rooms, food and parking. Will stay here again in the future. Thank you The Lights Hotel.

The hotel located at very strategic location..near to shopping complex and walking distance with variety of restaurants around the area..very clean hotels and easy check in. Self service check in kiosk available..recommended and will come back to stay here..

My stay here is pleasant. I am satisfied and in future I will choose this hotel again. What makes my stay joyful is that the room is clean, normally I will have an uncomfortable feeling staying in another hotel but here I can sleep soundly (normally I wont get enough sleep in other hotels) For breakfast here they offer freshly made omelette, halfcooked eggs. And all other choices are the same as the hotels breakfast menu. Thanks to all the staff for this satisfaction. And, the soap for the shower is sooooo fragrant.

My 2nd time check into this hotel and again didn’t disappointed. Price is slightly expensive and everything is just ok. Room is clean , staff is friendly and the breakfast is just okay. I will try another hotel if the price remain same. I pay Rm 300 ++ for 2 single bed room and I feel it’s not worth it.

When check in, front desk promoted there is an offer for cheaper stay room rate in this hotel with free breakfast. The offer was'nt bad at all should be considering by the bussiness traveller to stay here.However the environment for staying here is good and my choice stay here would be longer.

Arrived @ 4pm and everything was smooth when check in. They provide free parking and the entrance behind the hotel building. Its a multistory carpark. Room was excellent and all was exceptable. We had an enjoyable stay here and will come again in future.

The room was so clean and calming. staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so delicious and many choice. highly recomended.muslim friendly

Stayed at Grand Orient for one night for a business trip, and even though the hotel catered more for families with children (they have an in-house water park, though I did not try it out), I was generally satisfied with my stay. Room: Being relatively new certainly helped them in this regard, as the room's fittings were good and intact and the room itself felt fresh despite not having any windows. Bed and linen were comfortable, and the room was equipped with basic amenities. They provided an ironing board and iron which was a handy addition. Toilet was clean and modern. My only complaint - the toilet had a small tube (most probably for draining air-conditioning condensate water) sticking out of the ceiling directly on top the sink, which dripped water once in a while. Definitely something that needs to be improved on. Also, the room was quite small and felt slightly cramped. Location: Not very conducive, as there are hardly any shops within walking distance. The nearest convenience store would be a petrol station, about a 5-minute walk away. You would have to drive out for food and goods. Staff: Professional and welcoming. No complaints. Conclusion: Even though the Grand Orient had an in-house water park and was more family-oriented, the hotel premises was generally clean. It is probably not well suited for certain target groups, so do bear in mind what your priorities are before considering this place. All in all an ok place, though I may have scored it higher if it weren't for the odd water leak issue in the toilet.
