Sweetgrass Inn Bed & Breakfast

Everything at the Inn was great. The breakfast was enjoyable and convenient. Great host. The location was good if you want to visit Custer, Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, and the cities to the north like Deadwood, Sturgis and Spearfish. I would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely place. New owners Adam and Andrea couldn't have made this a better experience. There was an issue with our booking that ended up getting a different room than we had booked, but Adam addressed the issue promptly and offered a partial refund (since the room we ended up in was slightly cheaper than booked) which was not expected but certainly appreciated. The room we ended up in, the Grass Suite, was huge and very well-appointed. The breakfast at Shipwreck's was also delicious - you could order anything off the menu! I would absolutely go back again if in the area, which I hope to do soon!

Omg this place was wonderful . The rooms were decorated very cute, beds were firm, room clean, air conditioner kept room just right. Food at the adjacent Shipwreck was delicious and Eric,the owner, worked in every position to keep the place running smoothly and knew his business well. He was very friendly as was the girls that worked in the little restaurant. I would defiantly recommend this place. Thank you so much for a great experience. ❤️🦋

Great location to many attractions, but also very peaceful. The room was very clean, well furnished, and the beds were great! Towels and sheets were of great quality. I highly recommend this place! They also have the Shipwreck restaurant next door with great food and drinks!

I liked the atmosphere of this place very much. My room “the American suite” was personal, cozy and home-like. Everything was very clean and I was very comfortable in the room - very spacious and well organized. It was close to the town yet county-feel. Eric (the host) was a very kind man and his restaurant attached to this Inn provided delicious food. I would like to come again with my family. God bless!

Our family of 4 stayed at Sweetgrass. The location is great, close to all our favorite attractions, and the place is quiet and comfortable. It’s across the highway from Reptile Gardens, which is neat, even when you don’t love reptiles. It’s near Bear Country, which is fun. There’s a new Buffalo shooting rollercoaster that’s super fun, The food is amazing with a restaurant on site that is excellent. They do gluten free well.
