Enquired the Hotel for the closest room to the Hot Spring. The Hotel replied Queen Cabin as opposed to King Cottage we stayed in 3 years ago. We were given Cabin #5. We're terribly disappointed to find the room was extremely inconvenient and was no way closer to the Hot Spring. We went back to the Front Reception & they were nice to upgrade us to the King Cottage. Restaurant seemed to have changed hands. Food was not so good as before, & presentation was sub par. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

We liked the cabin over a hotel room
We didn’t like that all the facilities and front desk opened later in the morning
Food choices were limited, only the steak supper entree met the price and flavour expectation
No microwave in the room which was inconvenient.

Great resort! Such nice cabins with beautiful views of the lake. Hot spring pools are lovely. Definitely recommend having dinner at the restaurant. The steak was absolutely amazing and great service. Would love to come back

Retro Vibe, Great King Cabin
Staff were excellent but very understaffed. Staff members live on site and work around the clock in different resort type roles. Hot pools at the hotel don't open until 9am. Front desk doesn't open till 10. The area is amazing with lots of adventure. Hotel it self is a little dated but still has its charm. The hot pools were clean. King cabin was amazing and I would highly recommend it. No mini kitchen so plan accordingly.

There was a lack of quality control, room was made up nice but no garbage bag in the can, no coffee, no coffee filter. Access to the pools was very sketchy, paths were unmarked and steep with no lighting making it risky to maneuver.
The dining was sub par, service was slow, took along time to get our meal and again when I received, it was wrong. The food that did come was good but no way we were going to wait for them to correct.
I do not leave bad reviews but when paying premium price I expect a premium experience and that was just not the case

Obviously the hot springs are an attraction. Was disappointed that not all polls were open. Didn't want to pay 30.00 for a burger. I felt you could spend 30.00 more per room and expand the items in the kitchen area. 1 pepper and 2 salt didn't cut it, don't understand why you skimp on items. Limited pots and pans. Also, had kids jumping off of the center island and splashing other patrons, not cool and no one was observing it
