Wing Creek Resort

My husband & I have stayed at Wing Creek two times now and absolutely love it! It’s peaceful and serene. The cabins are beautiful & are kept immaculately clean. We love that you can have a cozy fire. The owners, Debra & Kevin, are wonderfully friendly and inviting. Absolutely recommend a stay! I’m sure we’ll be back again!

My husband and I spent our anniversary at wing creek and I can not say enough positive about it. Deb and Kevin were so kind and accommodating. The cabin was lovely and quiet, it was such a nice break from city life! We got to enjoy the town nearby without having to be right in town. We had everything we needed in the cabin to just relax and unwind. We have already rebooked for next year!

The Wing Creek Resort is a special place. It is quiet, secluded and beautifully maintained. It was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary and to explore the area. We enjoyed our view from the deck and the solitude of the beach below. As we reflect on our experiences in 2024, it was definitely one of our highlights. We would love to return one day. This is a very quiet, remote spot with a lovely view and lovely hosts. The cottage was spotless, impeccably maintained, and well outfitted. The kitchen is very simple but workable if you want to do some basic cooking. There’s a small bar fridge, a two-burner gas stove, microwave, and barbeque. No oven, and a very small freezer. It had everything we needed in terms of utensils and pots and pans. The steep 5 minute walk to the lake is rewarded with a great view and a bit of alone time with lots of places to sit or have a fire. It was rare to see motorized boats on the lake so it was a good spot for meditation or a bit of bird watching. Kaslo is a short drive away, and offers basic shopping and some fun activities including kayaking tours, hikes, and a couple of museums. There is a bit of construction happening on the property but it’s a big place and we rarely heard anything; what noise we did notice wasn’t troublesome. But it could be working asking when you book what might be underway when you’re there and plan accordingly.

We had a lovely stay at Wing Creek. We had been there many years ago and had always wanted to go back. We were not disappointed. It was as beautiful as we remembered. Kevin and Deb are wonderful hosts! The views are spectacular and the cottage was cozy and well-fitted out. We are looking forward to going back again. Anne and Erling

What a fantastic getaway for us as a couple. The scenery, hospitality and accommodations were all outstanding. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well appointed. We had complete privacy when we wanted it and a fantastic walk down for a beautiful swim in Kootenay lake. I would highly recommend Wing Creek if you want a fantastic couples getaway!
