This is the worst hotel in my life.
I've been to many countries, but this is the first time I've ever smelled such a sewer smell in a room.
The room I was assigned on the 27th was not bad, so I paid for a new double bed room to stay in for 3 days starting on the 29th.
However, from the night of the 28th to the early morning of the 29th, a terrible sewer smell came up, and I reported it to the reception at 2:40.
A male staff member came into the room and admitted that there was a strong smell, and the receptionist also said that if I contacted Trip.com customer service, they would cancel my new reservation.
I asked for another room where I could just sleep and leave since I was checking out in a few hours, but they said they only had smoking rooms, so I had no choice but to move to another hotel at 4 AM.
I requested a refund for the newly booked room, but they only told me to continue to complain to Trip.com and showed no intention of actively resolving the issue.
