Hotels in Pahar Ganj, New Delhi

The best thing about the hotel was that it was reasonably priced. The doorman was very nice and friendly. Receptionists were generally friendly, but the female sometimes had a little attitude. I would not book in this location again. This hotel in particular is off a narrow street that is not accessible by car so you have to walk a few minutes to the intersection or 10 minutes to a major intersection because the nearby street is VERY congested all the time. This area is also very densely populated and taxi's take forever to arrive and exit The hotel was not the cleanest. I was not expecting much, but there were a few ants and flying insects in the room. There were stains on the sheets and towels. I stayed for multiple days and I didn't receive room service once. They did call and ask me once if I wanted it, but that day I had declined. The shower water was not hot (but acceptable warm if turned all the way hot) during the daytime. Only during the evening was the water scalding hot. The shower tile was not angled deep enough or the drain was clogged and there was always about 3-5cm of water pooled at the bottom. The sink was outside in view of the room which was fine, but the faucet is over 40 inches above the basin which caused the water to splash out a lot. The breakfast was ok. The presentation and color was great, but the flavor was lacking.

I had a pleasant stay at the Novotel. It is located in the Old Delhi region, but not too far from the main part of Connaught Place where you will find many high street shops and bars/restaurants. The hotel itself is very new and not 100% finished. However, it was very clean and modern and the staff were superb throughout. They catered for my every needs and went above & beyond my requirements. Once the work is fully complete, then this hotel is a perfect place for anyone visiting New Delhi. Also, a quick mention to the chef, Sachin. He made me a perfect butter chicken curry, even though it wasn’t on the menu itself.

It was a bit noisy, but I'd attribute that more to the hotel's location, or perhaps just the general urban environment in India, rather than the hotel itself. Things might have been different had I been given a room on the quieter, inner side instead of facing the road. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For this price point, the level of service was truly exceptional. Overall, despite the noise, I was completely satisfied!

Conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from New Delhi Station. The front desk service was excellent. The bellboys were also polite. The room was fully equipped with a refrigerator, hair dryer, towels, and other amenities. There was a 24-hour food cafe next to the front desk. I ate breakfast there. Breakfast started at 8:00, which was a bit late, but that's understandable. I don't know about other hotels, but I thought this was one of the higher-quality hotels in India.

Very close to the Delhi Train station , if you are a frequent traveler , this place is a good choice for you ,good service! Also , the price is really affordable, a good place to stay in Delhi!

The room is clean, there is no problem with air conditioning and hot water, and the front desk is good, but there is no elevator, so it may be inconvenient for people with disabilities. There is nothing wrong with the accommodation itself, but the sound of horns is noisy because it faces a large street. If you are interested, bring your own earplugs. There are many dining rooms near the station, so there is no complaint if you leave early the next morning or stay for a short stay of １ｰ２ night.

The hotel is at good location near to railway station. I mainly stayed here to catch my train next day early morning. Stay was really good much better than expected and the food is just heaven. Very cordial staff
