What a great find, some of the friendliest staff we have had. The hotel is a boutique hotel and has lots of quotes dotted around. The room was great, we had a kitchenette. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was in reception area, there was cereals, fruit, croissants. You had a choice of cooked, this was cooked fresh for you. The omelette's were great. Hotel is just a short walk from the bus and train station. Just a short walk to the town and all the attractions. A big shout out to Anna, letizia and marsha.

ENG Do not go there! We had bed bugs in the room. When we wanted to inform the staff and ask for partial compansation, manager of the hotel said to us in a rude way taht because of some bugs in the room, there will be no recompansation. DE Nicht zu empfehlen! Wir hatten Bettwanzen im Zimmer. Als wir darűber das Personal informieren und um teilweise Entschädigung bitten wollten, bekamen wir auf eine sehr unangenehme Art und Weise die Antwort vom Hotelmanagerin, daß wegen irgendeinenen Wanzen über keine Entschädigung die Rede sein kann. PL Nie jedzcie tam, jeśli nie chcecie spać z pluskwami! Kiedy poinformowaliśmy o tym personel i prosiliśmy o częściową rekompensatę, pani manager hotelu w bardzo niemiły sposób, podnosząc na nas glós oświadczyła, że nie ma mowy o żadnej rekompensacie z powodu jakiś robaków w pokoju. Żadnego przepraszam. Nic.

This small hotel is a hidden gem. The location was ideal for the railway and bus station. A 10 minute leisurely walk. A 15 minute leisurely walk to dragon bridge. Anna greeted us and arranged to stay late as our flight was delayed. She was very welcoming and made us feel at ease straight away. Anna made the stay and if we were to visit again would be disappointed if she was not there. She is a real asset to the hotel.The room was spotless. Bed was comfy. Lovely sitting area under cover where you can have drinks or food. Breakfast was adequate. If you want a clean, comfy, safe place this is it.

Hotel rooms are quite small. All the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, providing information on restaurants etc. Good location, easy walk to old town and bus station. Supermarket only 1 block away.

We had one night in Ljubljana before heading out to Lake Bohinj. This hotel is in a great location, not far from the bus or rail station and a 10 - 15 min walk into town for numerous restaurants along the canal. Rooms were comfortable and clean, beds comfortable, AC and breakfast buffet was really good. Staff friendly. Really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 3 nights in Asteria hotel and loved it. Location is very good, 10 minutes from train and busstation and 15 minutes from the old city. Supermarket is near the hotel. We, a couple, had a big room for 3 persons. The bathroom divided the room in 2 sleeping parts, and we had a small kitchenette and a nice terrace. The kitchenette is not really for cooking, but there is a fridge, 2 hobs and some stuff as glasses, cups..., good for a drink or making a tea. Everything was clean. Airco worked good. Wifi was good too. Breakfast is very good, with eggs as you wish, yoghurt, fruits, , cheese, ham... It consists of a small buffet and a service at the table. It is lovely to eat outside in the patio. The people working there are very, very kindly and helpfull. Next to the hotel is the restaurant "Das ist Walter" with typical plates and good beer. So very easy if you do not like to go far in the evening. I can just recommend hotel Asteria.
