Cresta Palace Hotel

The Cresta Palace Hotel in Celerina is a wonderful place to stay—charming, beautiful, and very welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful, always making sure everything is just right. It’s a great choice for families, as it’s very child-friendly and offers lots of support for activities. The location is perfect, close to St. Moritz and amazing ski areas, especially for beginners. They even helped us arrange private ski lessons and took care of all the details for our trips and activities. The food is excellent, and the service makes the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I really like these hotels that remind me the "Belle Epoque" of travel. Booked a last minute weekend in September and I can only speak highly of it. The hotel is made up of two "wings": one with renovated rooms and another with a classic rooms. I stayed in a renovated room and I must say it was fantastic: very large and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower with all the amenities you would expect in a 4 stars hotel. The outdoor parking is free which is a big plus in my opinion. In the summer, guests of the Engadin hotels also enjoy free cable cars, a big plus considering the prices in Switzerland... (and I live in Switzerland!). Booked with the half-board formula, very convenient and with an excellent choice of dishes (but the staff was very willing to change something if it wasn't to my taste). Very varied and rich breakfast buffet. The common areas are superb and remind me of the early 1900s... Perhaps where the hotel could make some investments is in the pool/Spa area: pleasant but not large enough to accommodate all the hotel guests. Last but not least, I want to thank the staff for the great stay. The staff, especially the dining room staff, always very kind and available to accommodate any request and always with a smile. In particular I want to give a big thank you to Francesco from the restaurant.

Lovely hotel, you feel really spoilt here. It was an easy 3 minute train ride from St Moritz, and in my opinion a much more attractive place to stay. Room was spacious with a large bathroom (bath and shower), comfy beds and loads of storage. We ate in one of their restaurants - Asia 75 which was excellent quality if a bit pricey. As we were here in summer we got free travel pass which we used for the cable car and chair lift just over the road. Well worth a trip up the mountain. All together lovely and memorable stay.

We were visiting from the US and had a wonderful stay at Cresta Palace. The town is lovely and the hotel is beautiful. We thought the staff was friendly and helpful and everything was very clean. We made dinner reservations for two of the restaurants in the hotel and both were great meals.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were decent, but we stayed in the non renovated rooms so maybe if we would have had a nicer room the bang would be worth the buck. The breakfast was great, loved the bar and the pianist was an excellent touch. However, there were children running EVERYWHERE though the bar screaming while their parents sat at nearby tables allowing this rude behavior. I will not rate this hotel 5 stars when children are allowed in the bar! When I am drinking an expensive bottle of champagne I don’t want to have kids screaming. Is it too much to ask for the hotel to reserve the bar for adults?

This 3-star (?) hotel is maybe OK if you travel with young children. Lots of kids running around all over the hotel and also in the restaurants. The hotel is located outside of St. Moritz in what is called ‘Little Milano’. Super long lift queues to get up to the ski area! The queues start at 7.15 and the lift opens at 7.45 am. Overall a painful experience. Would not recommend.
