The Hand at Llanarmon

This is a must try restaurant. You will not be disappointed. The food and service are outstanding. The Head Chef puts his heart and soul in to the food. The flavours and the quality of food are outstanding! The hotel is great too a real countryside hotel.

Another lovely stay at The Hand this time there was ten of us staying one night. The Hand has been consistently good every time we have visited. A special thank you to Jackie, Jonathan, Ted and all the girls who work so hard to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bar is cosy and the food is amazing. We will definitely return

Just had an overwhelmingly fantastic meal at The Hand! The atmosphere was snug and inviting - truly the perfect setting for a lovely evening with my dear hubby. The warmth that engulfs you as you step in is just incredibly comforting. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a brilliant dining experience. Splendidly satisfying!

A cosy pub with excellent food. A traditional log fire to keep you warm. Friendly staff and a menu that was not overly complicated. It delivered on a good use of local ingredients from the local trout to the welsh beef. Strong flavors and quality.

I'm so glad that we found this amazing place whilst on holiday in the area. The food is outstanding! All freshly cooked, piping hot, generous portions and so beautifully presented. Inventive dishes and flavour combinations sit beside classic dishes like battered haddock & chips. My son declared his burger to be the best burger he'd ever had! Lovely friendly service from the young lady working in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. They also dealt with our sons' multiple food allergies brilliantly and without fuss. We definately recommend The Hand to anyone and will be going back this week if they can fit us in!

The hotel is attractive and set in a beautiful area the views are unbelievable. The hotel room was quaint and had everything we needed plenty of room and the bathroom was spotlessly clean.Temple spa goodies were provided which was a nice bonus. After arriving later than expected we wanted to go in the hot tub which I assumed was just for our room, in fact it was shared and there was another couple in there. Once they'd left we went in and see he views were beautiful as the hot tub was sunken into decking. The only down fall the hot tub was shut at 8pm and didn't reopen til 11am. For us this was limited as the time we hot in we had to make our dinner reservation later .Why not keep it open until late, who would it affect ? Dinner was superb, the food was delicious and good value if you are off the classics menu. Had a a great sleep, very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was again fantastic, freshly cooked food and a good selection. Staff were attentive.
