If you are looking for a B&B with Italian charm in the center of Cefalú, this is it! A perfect mix between modern comfort and the old and quaint. Walking distance to the beach, the cathedral, the train station, restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed the generous daily breakfasts with nice Italian treats and sweets. What really stands out is the hospitality and friendliness from the owners and staff, a solid 5 out of 5 stars from us!

The Cortile Umberto 1 is a fantastic B and B starting with the charming proprietors, Fabrizio and Flavia. Their warm welcome and great advise resulted in a wonderful three day stay in Cefalu. We recommend this inn enthusiastically. The location is quiet yet walking distance to the beach, squares, cafes and restaurants. The breakfast is generous fresh and delicious. Our room was spotless and quiet. They went out of their way to be helpful. They had wonderful suggestions. If you want a super comfortable place with personal attention the Cortile Umberto 1 will not disappoint.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Fabrizio was an excellent host. The breakfast was wonderful with different things every day. Although there were only two of us we had the family room. This was spacious and clean with a lovely terrace to sit out on. I cannot fault our stay here and would highly recommend.

Perfect location near everything. Everywhere was like 5 min walk. The most loveliest host who helped us with everything. Excellent breakfast made of quality ingredients. Pretty small but clean and quiet rooms eith balcony. Cost effective pricing.

My friends and I spent a lovely week here. Fabrizio and Flavia are lovely - so friendly, helpful and determined to give their guests a great experience. The building is beautiful and the rooms very modern within historic building. The breakfast was good and location perfect for us. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Everything about this place was perfect. Solo traveler with rental car and Fabrizio helped me every step of the way. He met me in his own car, guided me to a free parking lot and drove me back to his B&B. Told me everything I need to know for my stay. Lovely room with balcony, table and chairs. Great location just at the edge of the center so peaceful. Favorite place of a month long trip. Thank you, Fabrizio

We had a wonderful stay in August and could not have wanted more. Fabrizio & Flavia were so welcoming and informative, we really were made to feel so at ease and relaxed. The room was lovely and wonderful to sit on the balcony with an espresso listening to the church bells in the morning! A truly magnificent breakfast spread every morning topped it off and the location was just perfect - an easy stroll into the old town/beach but just far enough out to be a little quieter with a lovely piazza down the road. Thank you, we hope to be back soon!

Great place to stay at when in Cefalu! The owners Fabrizio and Flavia are lovely and helped us with a lot of info and recommendations. The cleaning ladies were always smiling and made our breakfast time enjoyable. The rooms are super clean, taken care of every day, the bathrooms are lovely and the breakfast was simply delicious! The place is within a very short walk to the center of the old town (but very quiet) and just 5-6 min away from the train/bus station which was super convenient. We will definitely stay at Cortile Umberto I, if we visit Cefalu again. The town stole our hearts so we are sure will do one day :)
