The welcome is charming, the setting is pleasant, the rooms are clean and functional. Free WiFi. The street is quiet and our night was pleasant. The breakfast is one of the best we have enjoyed in Portugal. Highly recommended

Parking is very complicated, after negotiation, the lady found a solution. The street is narrow and dead end. I suggest you notify Casa 45 if you have a car.

A B&B with a friendly, helpful hostess Catharina. The breakfast is not extensive, but still sufficient. The fruit (kiwi and mandarins) was probably there by accident the first morning because we didn't see it the other days. Suddenly again when Fatima and not Catharina provided breakfast, then the breakfast was more extensive. Not much lukewarm coffee, but maybe they don't know our coffee in Portugal. You need to be able to climb stairs here, especially if, like us, you occupy the top floor, which is a lot of stairs. You will then have a spacious terrace with a beautiful view. We were helped to carry the suitcase upstairs by a young man, whom we never saw again. The biggest disadvantage of the top room is the tiny bathroom and especially the water in the shower, which barely drains. You have to shower quickly otherwise the water will flow straight into the room. After 15 minutes the water is gone. By the way, it gets very warm. The water is not tasty, but it can be drunk without risk. Despite the bad bathroom and the water that does not drain, we can still recommend this B&B. You shouldn't set your standards too high, then it's fine. We were allowed to stay in the room until we had to go to the airport, which was great. And they also print your boarding pass. What else do you want?

We really thought we would find a pension worth the 9/10 as indicated. Unfortunately and without any ill will, this is not the case. The bedroom on the 2nd floor is spacious but the bedding and especially the sheets are of very poor quality. The bathroom is tiny and uncomfortable, in addition to difficulties in getting hot water. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired (Just look under the bed and the furniture) Even if the street is quiet, the neighbors opposite are noisy until midnight...and the house right opposite is under construction from 7:30 a.m. The PDJ is VERY basic and always the same! No pastries, or eggs for example. (Did you say “Superb”?) Coffee not very good! The stairs up to the 2nd floor after the streets of Porto all day long, it's not fun even if it's a question of age. FYI, no TV.

Fijne accommodatie. Goed ontbijt, fijne kamer, alles schoon en netjes. Goed en vriendelijk personeel. Ik zou dit zonder meer aan anderen aanbevelen.
