It was a true joy staying at the home of Marty and Terrie. Both are very kind, welcoming and warming people. They show true joy in having guests! We’d found this property through google and adjusted our trip to visit. When we drove up the land we saw a deer welcoming us! How amazing is that? We stayed in the yellow room. Nicely decorated decor and a very comfy bed! The bathroom is not en-suite but is easily accessed through the hallway. Everything you needed for having a great shower is there! We enjoyed a really good breakfast in the library and had a splendid cup of fresh made hot chocolate. The house is self built by the owners and looks just like a true gem. If I need to point out one thing that I was missing that would’ve been an AC. But that’s just a personal thing, since I always like to have cold fresh air in the room. You can leave the windows open if you want. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This is a quiet place nestled in the woods and off grid, star gazing a must. There’s no a/c but really who needs it, nestled in the woods with lots of shade and the breeze flows through this open space home. It’s off grid with all other creature comforts. The claw foot bath tub is large enough for 2 adults to sit in. The Hostess is very nice and cooks a wonderful breakfast that is served outside on your private patio. A mother deer brought her twins within a few yds of us and wanted us to open the gate to the garden, which we did not do but did enjoy watching her and the babies graze on grass. My only down side was her dogs’ poop was all over the back yard so watch your step, her yard so... I would stay here again and again.
