Cedar Inn

I always enjoy my stay here. This isn't a posh motel, but it is always clean and the folks who stay here are as wonderful as the owner.

The owners were very cooperative when I was going to arrive later than expected and the location couldn't have been better.

Cedar Key has a lot of damage from the hurricanes still so there isn't much open. This is an old motel from maybe the fifties, It was clean but in need of updates. I thought it was overpriced for what was there. There is no view of the water! People smoke on the deck outside your room so the smell comes in thru the air conditioning.

Seen better days If Alfred Hitchcock and Stephen King had a love child. It would be born or concede at this hotel. This was a last min quick stay quick trip nothing fancy just need a place to crash. We pulled up and my wife said O-boy we couldn’t turn back now we drove 7 hrs and not much around. You could have not asked for a nicer lady at check in 👍. I wanted to sit and have a few beers with her and pet her dogs. As far as the hotel it’s seen better days a long long long time ago. Listen the beds super clean and it had hot water and you could hang meat in the room the AC was that cold. But if you want to film a Norman Bates part 2 this would be the place. We just had to laugh about it. We had fun old world Florida

Very comfortable stay for two nights, met a cool orange cat named Moe as soon as i got out of my truck, found him very welcoming as he followed me upstairs, the lady in office was Deb was very nice as well, place could be fixed up but was clean and comfortable, will stay again next time in Cedar Key!!

This hotel is old and weather beaten, but the woman that checked us in was very nice. The room was clean and quaint, and the beds comfortable.
