Toscana Biovillage - Private Cottage

Immersed in the silence of the greenery ... modern, spacious, comfortable and clean cottages. Two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, living area with a bright kitchenette with large windows (to be honest, not much light in the evening). Dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker ... there is everything you need to spend a relaxing few days. Breakfast by the pool with the smiling welcome of Paola ready to pamper you with toast made on the spot, fresh croissants, yogurt, cakes ... coffee cappuccino ... fruit juices ... in short, a lot and it's all excellent. The swimming pool, since the season has just started, was empty but it doesn't matter, the only flaw that I didn't like was having the hydromassage inside the cottage and having to pay to use it... absurd... I would have understood if it was outside the house but paying the price of the whole accommodation I expect that everything inside is included (modest sum of 120 euros requested separately... look and don't touch!) For everything else I recommend it... convenient for reaching Marina di Cecina, Volterra, San Gimignano...

La struttura e in stato di manutenzione pessimo, giardini incolti e vialetti non curati. La dotazione della camera è scarsa: la televisione non funziona in quanto non collegata al decoder per incompatibilità delle prese (decoder scart anni 80). In più la struttura del cottage è assurda: il bagno si trova tra le camere in open space (solo il wc con il bidet sono in un locale chiuso) la doccia e il lavandino sono nel corridoio di accesso alle stanza, senza privacy. In più una delle stanze è realizzata in veranda chiusa e non ci sono oscuranti efficaci per la luce. E' presente tanta automazione ma che non funziona, sta lì solo per bellezza. Infine il personale è scontroso e poco disponibile, la colazione fa ridere: una brioche e un succo di frutta e se c'è uno yogurt, per le bibite cade c'è da aspettare mezz'ora perché c'è una sola persona che fa tutto da sola. La piscina è assurda, una specie di bagna-asciuga con un buco al centro più profondo. Le stanze non vengono pulite dal personale. Le foto sul sito sono di molti anni prima. Ho completato il soggiorno senza lamentarmi perchè sono un viaggiatore assiduo e mi godo la vacanza comunque con le persone con cui sto. Esperienza completamente negativa, prezzo non giustificato.

English: We stayed from 18/08 to 23/08 The property is 3 km from the sea (which is not the best) and the houses are very nice but with some things to review such as the microwave that was supposed to be built into the kitchen was replaced by a larger one that did not fit and was placed on the already very small top. We did not know how to make it work, not having one at home, so they gave me the explanations, unfortunately they were the ones for the oven that they replaced. The refrigerator remained open and after two days their technician arrived who detected the fault but did not repair it. Cutlery and some pots were missing. The much vaunted swimming pool is not large enough to accommodate all the guests of the property. The thing that particularly bothered us was being accused of having consumed two aperitifs (never taken) and not having paid for them. Other guests consumed these aperitifs and marked them on our room and at the time of check out they gave us the news even though they had the consumption sheets with different signatures. The girl at the reception didn't believe us though. The quality/price ratio is very high.

English: We stayed in this residence from 11 to 16 August: the apartment was tidy and clean, equipped with everything reported in the description at the time of booking. In general, the structure is well-kept and cared for and the staff is kind and helpful. Unfortunately, however, at the time of check-in we were not informed of the major problem of the presence of ants, or rather, the receptionist asked us not to keep the windows open for a long time because being in the countryside (rightly) insects could have entered. But, unfortunately, the ants were in the house and we found ourselves forced to buy insecticides to eliminate them because they had invaded the sink and the dog's food (stored correctly and sealed). We understand the difficulty in managing situations of this type being a residence completely surrounded by greenery and therefore BEAUTIFUL, but we would have appreciated if we had been informed upon arrival in order to contain the situation in the apartment in advance. In any case, highly recommended for the location and the environment in general.

Struttura un po triste non rispechia foto del sito. inoltre check in alle 15. all arrivo appartamento non pronto pronto solo dopo 1 ora di attesa.
