We stayed at Hotel Vacation in Cebu for a quick stop. The hotel itself is a bit old but overall good and the staff is very professional and nice, nothing major to complain about in terms of facilities.
That said, the general vibe wasn’t quite what we expected. Let’s just say it might not be the best fit for families or travelers looking for a quiet, wholesome environment. Worth considering depending on what kind of stay you’re after.

Perhaps because I arrived late at night, there was a bit of an uncomfortable situation.
I was surprised that there was no safe in the room.
There were several safes in front of the information desk.
Open with 2 keys~~ㅎ
I understood the situation in the Philippines.
It's a bit of a walk to find food nearby, so it's hard to walk at night.

Nice place, didnt expected to much for that price,but it was ok, nice location rooms small but clean and ok, wifi worked ok,aircon little noisy but ok, nice little swimmingpool, if you are in a budget this is very good place,i think breakfast was include but i didnt tried it,sadly there was a construction site just across the road, so it was hard to have an afternoon nap,but cant blame the hotel for that if the do a full renovation,it will be very nice place

This hotel has a great potential become a hidden gem in the heart of the Cebu city. It desperately needs a renovation and total clean up. It has a garden what might be found only in the city outside hotel's. It has a old little hotel charm what should be valued. Breakfast was simple but tasty, restaurant was not open in the evening time. Very weird episode happened once in the morning. I was swimming and my partner in the room. I left door unlocked and someone tried to come inside very quietly opening the door. When noticed someone is still in the room fastly closing the door and running away. I reported this to front desk and after half an hour reception told us it was just a mistake by a House keeping. After ten minutes all our valuables were inside the safe. Hotel explanation sounds very weird. Someone reported our room was full of valuables.

Yes it is a small hotel but the location is excellent. The building is older and not modern and could probably do with a lick of paint (who can’t lol?) The staff are incredibly attentive and although this is basic accommodation it is nonetheless value for money and strongly recommend. The warm welcome and endless obliging gestures by the staff are second to none! This is Filipino hospitality at its best. Bravo to Jo, Jessi, Vani & Ayid!

I’ve been coming here since 2018 and everyone from security to the handyman and gardener are SO LOVELY! They’ve always made me feel welcome. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Finally, the beautiful ladies that work there tirelessly to ensure you are comfortable are absolute angels! They always make me feel welcome when I arrive and every day I’m there I can’t say enough good stuff about the Vacation Hotel in Cebu!
