Pestana Cayo Coco Beach Resort

First time in Cayo Coco. The hotel lobby, snack bar and stage were lovely. The snack bar food was good but the buffet food was always cold and tasteless. The beach sand was beautiful but you need water shoes to go into the ocean because there are sharp rocks, almost like coral, about 3 feet from the shore. The room was clean but the toilet seat was loose and the toilet flushing apparatus didn't work very well and the shower head was on a hose with no holder. Our housekeeping gentleman was a STAR! Disnay Garcia! He helped us repair the toilet and cleaned the room, fresh towels nice towel decorations. Always willing to help! 3rd floor block 1. Front desk and Customer service were also very friendly and helpful. I had to ask them to charge my phone a few times. The entertainment in the lobby was very good but the DJ music, although very good, was much too loud. Was hoping for a few more stage shows. Still, the weather was beautiful and the pool was good.

Great hotel and a amazing staff. In the lobby every morning they go attending you with a beautiful smile. The rooms all time are clean, that lady's work so hard for you can rest in a good room. The food is fine, isn't amazing, but they have variety and quality food, the chef, Yodalys work so hard and help us a lot with our food, we are vegan and she make that we can eat a good food. I want to say thank you to Ernesto, the customer service manager, and Amanda the community manager, they always was available for us and help us in every single detail. 100% I going to come back to this amazing place

Room: We arrive the first night and there are no bedsheets on the bed. There was a blood stain (so it seems) on the wall, and our safe had holes in it and was completely busted. Furthermore, the phone doesn't work, the toilet seat was broken and extremely loose, and the shower was gunky. All to say we tried to avoid our room. Also, we went to the front desk for bedsheets and were told we could only get some the next day... The food was extremely average, but Cuba is Cuba. However, the employees were always super nice. Rojo, the entertainer, was amazing and and super nice, while keeping us entertained. I also got to know Will, the bartender of the buffet, who was super nice as well and very agreeable. Finally, Evily/Evely/Evelyn (not sure what her name was) from customer service was always there to serve our needs. The cost for us was cheap, so we expected to not have the best of stuff.

Overall a wonderful holiday with my family. There are so many friendly staff who are always working hard. The beaches are beautiful and the pools are refreshing and the gardens are stunning. One of our favourite places to be is the snack bar where there is always a tasty treat and the best cappuccinos. If you like a stronger brew just see Alejandro. Wonderful massage on the beach from Iosney and snorkelling at the Nautical centre were beyond our expectations with jailor. We were so happy and will definitely be back.

I just arrived and I was treated as a polish queen from Canada. I am very surprised. Lieny, Junior, Eliany and Carlos just asked me from entry what I would to like to drink or eat. Of corse front desk it was amazing as well too. BEACH is amazing So far so good.

My husband and I have been to Playa Paraiso over 15 times. We love it here. All employees are very kind, helpful, and friendly. At the buffet Leyanis Ruiz and Yanelys Enamorado are AMAZING! Very thorough, hard working, friendly and kind. At the reception, we have Adela and many more. The customer service manager Ernesto will help you with any queries you have. Abdel at the pool, George at the coffee/bar to name a few. We LOVE it here.
