Pestana Cayo Coco Beach Resort

They treated us amazing it was a wonderful time. The people are amazing an treat you like family. It was an 10/10 experience.

This was the 5th time my friend and I have been to this resort. This is now home away from home for us. The people make us feel like family and are so warm and friendly. Our friends Norge at the beach bar and Danielys at the pool bar are like family to us. The customer service rep Evelio was always friendly and helpful with any questions we had. He also speaks English very well ! It was great to see Isdiel at the reception again and as always he was helpful with our check in and any concerns we had. We also made some new friends this time, Gisele at reception was so sweet and friendly. And Yuri even if she was tired still had a smile on her face as she was serving everyone their drinks. Overall everyone made us feel at home and we will definitely be back again and again. We love Cuba and this resort is now our second home. Can’t wait to be come back soon 😀

I'm having a beautiful vacation in this place that it's like my second home. All is very clean, the beach is amazing and the staff the best. I had a nice special dinner to be repeat guest. Thanks at the cooker, workers(George and tito from the lobby bar) and special thanks to Annelys and Ernesto in Customer service. I recommend this hotel

After a negative checking in experience at memories,Caribe, we decided to transfer to playa Paraiso As we had stayed at the hotel in April and had a very good stay. When we arrived at playa paraiso annelys and management were aware of why we transferred and welcomed me and my wife with open arms and a “welcome back “ greeting. The hotel offered us an ocean view room that Disney was just finishing his magical touches to. We have been to Cuba many many times and I can say this was the most fun we have ever had at any resort. The genuine friendliness ,attentiveness and cleanliness soon made us soon forget our negative experience at memories caribe Everything from the night at Hemingway plaza( soooo much fun hanging out with Anna ) to singing on the bus to and from the event , the atmosphere was electric Everything was top notch including the food and drinks and service. The staff will leave a lasting amazing impression on anyone they interact with. The only slightly neg thing I can think of is the lack of ice at the beach bar , Special mentions to the following stafff , Annelys Thank you so much for saving our vacation !!! Also many thanks to Daniela(lobby bar),Disnay(room attendant),Isdiel(reception), ailyn and randy(reception) , Pedro lobby bar and many more. A big thank you to the front desk for arranging us a taxi and getting Sunwing to pay for it when our transfer bus was a no show , If you are reading this review or researching hotels in Cayo coco seriously consider Playa Paraiso for your vacation. It was great. People nice! Food ok but environment and beach amazing. Entertainment people are very nice. Rooms were ok!

Transferred from the Melia. I had some issues there. I stay in Cuba for 2 months total in the winters and This was a great move. Food was great even for low season. No buffet, everything was a la cart. They did have a dessert section with lots of fresh fruit at the a la cart restaurant. They had pizza, spaghetti and meat sauce or tomato sauce, soup, chicken, pork, beef, fish, battered fish, mashed potatoes, rice, veggies and thats just to name a few off the dinner menu and you can order multiple items with no limit. Food comes out fresh and fast. Lots of wine for dinner and all staff are very attentive always filling your glass of water, beer or wine. I ate lunch at the snack bar, burgers and fries and they had ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper on every table. You could eat lunch a la cart also. Breakfast was a la cart with many options , bacon, ham, pancakes, eggs, omelets , fresh fruits, ect. Lots of drinks, frozen drinks, different alcohols, wines and sodas. They had a snack bar with french fries every day and night, 3 different sandwiches most times burgers and hot dogs. Great staff especially George of the Jungle ( Lobby bar Manager ) and Oscar the Grouch ( Entertainment Manager ) These are just some of the great staff that are working there to make your stay great. The head chef I know from the Melia and wow can he cook. No complaints at all. The grounds are well kept, The rooms were cleaned and mopped every day smelling fresh, plenty of big bottles of water in the room, toilet paper and nothing went missing, Lots of hot water, coffee maker, and clean sheets and towels. Toilet flushed great, never ran all night. Tv worked and the balcony locked. A/C was always nice and cold. I had a small issue with my safe and key card but that was taken care of right away. Front desk staff were amazing always there to help, customer service always asking how your trip is and if they can do anything for you. The beach was great, nice big beach bar with a bunch of great guys working there. Pool is awesome with a bridge and swim up bar. Entertainment was amazing with the Micheal Jackson show. I have no complaints and met a bunch of people I knew that used to go to other resorts and now come there. I met lots of people that transferred from other resorts and loved it there. Over all I have no complaints and will definitely be back in the near future. This will be my new home away from home. See you soon.
