Staff is perfect, however the cleanliness remains to be desired, there were 2 small cockroaches in the room. Apart from this incident, I had a good stay.

Hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Functional air conditioning. Hearty breakfast, fresh seasonal produce and fruit, rather pleasant and smiling staff. Courteous reception staff. Average view. Kitsch lobby decoration in my opinion… Location in a housing estate. The big problem: the bar!!! Not a smile or a good evening when I arrived. No welcome, I had to wait a good 5 minutes without a word before I asked to be served. After returning the drinks ordered because they were undrinkable, there was a wait of more than half an hour, apparently on purpose, and served by a third employee who was not on duty according to him. Bad atmosphere . In short, a business hotel without more... too bad. Management should be more attentive to the behavior of certain employees...

Generally speaking, the hotel is OK and we had a pleasant stay with the family despite some negative points to take into account. •In the bedroom ; Comfortable bed but sofa bed is not suitable for adults but more for children because it is not comfortable enough. The Nuxe products in the bathroom are very appreciable, however redoing dirty joints and more thorough cleaning. Be careful, adjoining rooms are not soundproofed at all, you can hear everything from your neighbor, so ask to change; reception will do what is necessary. •Very good breakfast and excellent juice. •Pleasant swimming pools but very few “mattress” deckchairs, towels available at reception… jacuzzi under “renovation” nothing changed during our one-week stay and dangerously placed for young children… •On the other hand BIG BIG downside of the hotel: SECURITY WHICH IS NON-EXISTENT! The hotel's jewelry store, present from time to time in the lobby, was robbed in the middle of the day, creating a panic among the guests and especially among the children who were very scared! Imagine the scene! Zero checks, zero security agents to check the identity of people entering the hotel so anyone can enter by car and/or on foot like a mill! The reception manager (0/10) has absolutely nothing to do with it, zero “symbolic” commercial gestures (in fact the hotel does not make its living from tourism but from cabin crew and people on business trips because very few tourists and is the only hotel in this range) but as a substitute we tell you: "this was beyond our control" and yet YES you are entirely responsible for what happened and which could have been avoided, because when we have an 18ct jewelry store in our hotel, we take all the necessary and logical measures for the safety of customers and staff, something which was not done and which gave the opportunity to a malicious person to take advantage of this flaw to get in with ease! We also tell you that there is a security agent lurking around... obviously, he must be "invisible" because we have never seen him, neither at the entrance to the car gate nor at the entrance to the hotel ! •Nevertheless, I would like to make a special mention to Francis at reception, for his very warm and pleasant welcome, always keen to ensure that the customer is satisfied and that is really very appreciable, thank you Francis.

BRASSERIE restaurant TO AVOID, really not worth the price with homemade fries from the local frozen store at €32 the only good point was the fruit cocktail, apart from all that it is better to go and dine elsewhere for better quality

Overall quite disappointing hotel not practicing Mercure practices: - minibar not restocked in privilege room even though the latter is advertised as free as in all Mercures on the refrigerator door - you have to ask for your bottle of water and restocking Nespresso coffee pods - weekend breakfasts are not offered although this is provided beyond DIAMOND status We learn of the payment, on arrival, of the entire stay under the pretext of a change of rules by the management. Finally and to finish, the quality of the main restaurant is quite average with a service that is too long, incompatible with a professional stay. In short: average.

The hotel organizes private parties with DJ during the week until 11:30 p.m. midnight for airline staff. Don't go there to sleep peacefully, early, because of the time difference. Breakfast is not worth 25 or 30 €

Modern hotel, offering good comfort. Firm bedding. Clean, spacious rooms. Be careful though because the lighting is not very good, especially in the bathroom. Check your bill carefully (especially laundry) and keep all duplicates! The staff is helpful. Very good breakfast buffet with omelettes to order. The fruit juices are delicious and the ROYAL SUSHI restaurant is a reference in Cayenne.
