5*s! As always, we wish to leave a glowing review for our stay at Novotel Dona Sylvia. We returned here after getting married at this very venue 5 years ago - we wished to come back to reminisce and unwind and it was the most perfect stay of our trip to India. Gita and the rest of the Novotel Staff (Anant, Anjali, Gavin to name just a few) were attentive, super lovely and made us feel as though we had returned home, which was furthered when we also met the General ***ager on our last day. The team pulled out every stop and made us feel extremely welcome and at ease, especially when we landed at midnight - they did everything they could to accommodate us with checkin and a snack before sleeping. The pool, breakfast buffet food service and grounds were excellent - we cannot thank the Novotel Team enough for all their thoughtful details to celebrate our anniversary (including a cake and a personalised, heartfelt card). We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the hotel, the serenity pool and the easy access to the beach - for sure we will be back in the coming years. The team pulled out all the stops for the most memorable and unforgettable stay, we cannot thank you enough - the charm of Dona Sylvia has indeed lived on and will be with us for our whole lifetime. Special shoutout to Gita Ben - you are simply wonderful and we cannot wait to plan our return trip. If you are looking for a place to stay in South Goa, then definitely look no further! We were at the hotel with a large group for a week. This is the worst Radisson I've ever stayed at. There is nothing to do at breakfast, it is better not to take it. In principle, there are no questions about the number. The area is small, the pool is very small. To get to the beach you have to go through the Novotel, about 600 meters. The beach is of course excellent, just be careful in the sheks, we were cheated on the far right, we need to check and immediately negotiate the cost of seafood.

The staff is amazing and very helpful plus polite. To name a few Nashel at the reception Angelo in Figs and Olives Deepti, Merwin, Manoj and team in Zest Cafe where they have buffet system are the amazing team members and polite. Jyoti with her coffee skills always serving with smile. They made sure our stay was great experience and special thanks to House keeping team greeting us with their smile first thing in the morning to check if we need anything in the room and rooms were always kept clean and organised with out fail.

Hotel, staff, facilities...all 6 stars! Yes, it's not 5 stars, it's superior. Copy!!! ***y 5 star hotels should follow this example of operation, organization and service. Fabulous!

What a great place to stay. If you are into nature get to say in one of the rive cottages and your are right n the edge of the Sal river. On the far bank is a large fruit bat colony, a pond heron arrives on the pontoon just outside every evening to look for fish, smaller bats and kites fly around in the evening and you can watch fishermen pulling in their fishing nets. such a peaceful quiet view from the balcony I loved it. The *** and wo*** on reception were so friendly and professional as was the *** serving breakfast. The beach was a 10 minute walk away.
