Hapimag Resort Cavallino

It is always relaxing to stay in Cavallino; the structure is a certainty because it allows you to reach Venice from Punta Sabbioni, take pleasant walks on the beach and walk in the Lio Piccolo lagoon.

The architecture of this resort is very reminiscent of the Bauhaus style in Germany. "Form follows function"! Function is very important. Of course, it's all a matter of taste! Definitely very solid and valuable. Nevertheless, we were dissatisfied because we had booked a premium room specifically to have a beautiful view of the dunes. Unfortunately, the view was more like that of a big city. Otherwise, the facilities were perfect, the pool was clean and warm but very regulated. The restaurant was good but expensive for the quality by German standards.

We stayed at Hapimag Cavallino for a week and had a budget room for wheelchair users because nothing else was available. We were very happy with this room category because we had a huge apartment with lots of space, countless shelves and storage options and a huge balcony. As always with Hapimag, the kitchen and the entire apartment were superbly equipped and nothing was missing. The only thing is the Segafredo coffee machines are catastrophic and so the machine had to be replaced twice during our stay. The hotel management should think about switching to Nespresso, as usual. The room was in the main building, which was very practical due to the direct connection to the underground car park. The underground car park is huge, but was almost completely full during our stay. There are a few parking spaces with electric charging stations, but 70 cents / kWh with parking fees of 7 euros per night is a total cheek, which is why I didn't use them. The service at reception, the caretaker and in the supermarket was great, the service in the restaurant was rather poor. We had dinner twice in the hotel's own restaurant, but I have to say that it was the most expensive and worst meal we had during the week. There are many restaurants within a few minutes' walk or drive that are much cheaper, offer a larger selection and better quality. For breakfast we bought rolls in the hotel's own small supermarket. They have everything you need there, but there is also a large supermarket just a few minutes' walk away that offers even more selection. The hotel's pool and children's pool are nice and adequate, but there were not enough loungers at lunchtime. Beach towels could be borrowed from reception for a one-off fee of 5 euros and exchanged daily free of charge. The extensive beach is just a few steps away and offers a variety of loungers and umbrellas. Everything looks well-kept, but you have to watch out for the jellyfish in the water and on the beach. Unfortunately there were no opportunities to shower or rinse your feet on the beach, so this needs to be done. The entertainment program was very limited and was limited to two entertainers who did their best within their means. It is disappointing that there is only a children's disco every two days. We would have liked to see more here. Overall, the Hapimag resort is highly recommended and is ideal for a stay with the family.

Non ero mai stato al mare in questa zona, ed è stata una bella scoperta. Spiagge grandi e mare pulito. Il resort è molto bello ed attrezzato. Ideale, sopratutto, per famiglie con bambini (per i quali c’è una buona animazione). Si trova a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Cavallino e da un supermercato molto fornito.Parcheggio sotterraneo. Appartamenti con arredo moderno e corredati secondo i consueti alti standard Hapimag. Area condiziona che funziona bene. Il nostro era in una zona tranquilla (vicino la spiaggia), ma aveva il difetto di non avere la zanzariera in sala, per cui la sera non potevano stare con la portafinestra aperta, perché c’erano molti moscerini e zanzare. Molto buono il ristorante con porzioni abbondanti ed anche alcuni piatti ricercati. Personale molto gentile. Mercato interno ben fornito. SPA molto bella. Piscina grande e pulita. Unico neo è che ci sono poche sdraio ed ombrelloni e le solite persone maleducate le occupano anche quando non le usano (meno male che il bagnino era sempre pronto a liberare gli spazi non utilizzati). La zona spiaggia (a cui si accede facilmente dal resort), invece, ha un numero molto alto di ombrelloni, per cui non ci sono problemi di posto. Qui l’unico neo è l’assenza di un bar (quindi non possibile prendere un aperitivo o qualcosa da mangiare o bere, se non andando al bar del resort (zona piscina). Da provare assolutamente
